PURPOSE
This service procedure outlines the process to complete a full front end service of IC700, IC750, C700(M), and C750(M)
cutters and ICT716 & CT716(M) combination tools, including all grease points and seal replacements. This procedure is
applicable if the tool is moving slowly/will not move in one direction, or if tool is leaking from front end.

REQUIRED TOOLS
- Seal Pick or Small Flat Blade Screw Driver
- 3" Adjustable Spanner Wrench with 3/16" Pins
- Dead Blow Mallet
- Non-Marring Punch
- Clean Rags

PROCESS
3.1
DISASSEMBLY
1. Complete Section 2.1 Blade Removal process per
Service Procedure LIK-066.
2. Using small flat blade screwdriver or pick, remove
KN0116 Slot Covers. Figure 3.1 (2). Use care not
to damage the Slot Cover.

Review and understand operational and safety instruction manual for each tool before performing
this procedure.
It is the responsibility of the service technician to ensure the use of appropriate protective clothing
and equipment. The chosen protective clothing and equipment must provide protection from
potential hazards users may encounter while servicing or operating AMKUS rescue tools.
Requirements for protective clothing and equipment are determined by the Authority Having
Jurisdiction (AHJ).
To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack when performing maintenance or
repairs.
• When necessary to install the battery while troubleshooting, exercise caution to avoid contact
with energized circuits and all moving parts.
• The battery is rated 60VDC.
Ensure cylinder is not pressurized before performing service. Injury or death could occur due to
uncontrolled release of stored pressure. To release stored pressure in a controlled manner:
1. Actuate the tool to a position away from the end stops.
2. Momentarily rotate the control valve ring to both sides, releasing any residual pressure in the
cylinder.

Cutter/Combi Full Front End (Level 3 Repair)
- Toyota 4-pin Hub Locknut Socket - OEMTOOLS #
25969, or equivalent
- AMKUS MV1 Hydraulic Fluid
- Acetone
- VSA-525 multi-purpose lithium grease or equivalent
- VSA-120 blue Loctite
