Light Sensor Evaluation Modules
Description
The OPTx0xxDTSEVM and OPTx00xDNPQ1EVM
evaluation modules (EVM) are a platform for
evaluating the performance of the OPT light sensors.
Texas Instruments has multiple families of light sensor
parts. Each of these parts is a light sensor integrated
circuit (IC) with a digital output and works with the

C protocol; making the device an excellent choice
for many applications. The OPTEVM is a platform
for evaluating the performance of the multiple light
sensor IC under various conditions. The OPTEVM
consists of two PCBs. The first PCB is the OPTMB

EVM board that communicates with the computer,
provides power, and sends and receives appropriate
digital signals. The second PCB is the OPTCB
coupon board, which contains the light sensor IC for
evaluation and support circuitry.
