TROuBLE SHOOTINg guIDE

pROBLEM
When the machine is switched
on, the steam and hot water lights
are flashing.
Coffee does not run through
Coffee runs out too quickly
Coffee is too cold
pOSSIBLE CAuSES
Selector Control is not in 'Standby'
position
Machine is not turned on or plugged in
Water tank is empty
Coffee grind is too fine
Too much coffee in the filter
Coffee tamped too firmly
The filter is blocked
The coffee grind is too coarse
Not enough ground coffee in the filter
Ground coffee not tamped firmly enough
Cups not preheated
Milk not heated enough (if making a
cappuccino or latté)
WHAT TO DO
Turn the Selector Control to 'Standby' position.
Machine will commence normal heat up
procedure.
Ensure the machine is plugged in and the POWER
button is pressed to 'on'.

Ensure you use a suitable espresso grind.
