3.3.8 Cable testing

3.3.8.1 Cable test position
a) Put operating lever into earthing seat.
b) Turn lever clockwise to "earthed" position.
c) Open cable compartment door.
d) Remove cover from control mechanism
compartment (see chapter 4.4.2).
e) Push locking plate to top position.

The following tasks must only be carried
out by qualified personnel!

f) Put operating lever into earthing seat.
g) Turn lever counter-clockwise to "open" position.
The cables can now be tested.
After cable testing has terminated, work through
the previously described steps in reverse order.
3.3.8.2 Cable testing procedure for SBR functional
units
a) Open the circuit-breaker.
b) Close switch-disconnector.
c) Close earthing switch.
d) Open cable compartment door.
e) Open busbar compartment door.
f) By-pass the busbar compartment door interlock.
Use a tool to pull down the metallic interlock in
the busbar compartment above the operating
mechanism.
g) Open the earthing switch.
h) Open the bottom earthing switch of the cable
compartment.
