Disassembling the camera flash: Rotate the lock ring anticlockwise until it is loosened, then take off the camera flash. Installing the Battery Slide and open the battery compartment according to the arrow direction in figure 1, insert four batteries in the correct positive and negative poles (figure 2 shows the positive and negative poles on the battery), finally slide the battery compartment to close according to the arrow direction in figure 3.
Photocell Settings Press the MODE button to switch between S1 photocell and S2 photocell. The display will not show S1 or S2 icon when the photocell function is turned off. S1 Photocell Unit Setting This flash can function as an optic S1 secondary flash with optic sensor.
Bounce Flash By pointing the flash head toward a wall or ceiling, the flash will bounce off the surface before illuminating the subject. This can soften shadows behind the subject for a more natural-looking shot. This is called bounce flash. To set the bounce direction, hold the flash head and turn it to a satisfying angle.

Power Saving Mode With the power saving function, the flash will automatically enter power saving mode after 30 minutes of idle use when mounted onto a camera. In wireless flash or photocell mode, the flash will automatically enter power saving mode after 60 minutes of idle use. Pressing any flash button will wake it up.
