The FLAEM Aerosol Therapy device consists of a compressor unit (A), a nebuliser and some accessories (B). INTENDED USE. Medical device for the administration of medication through inhalation, with inhala- tion therapy and medication prescribed by a Doctor.

  • Page 14 DURATION Model: P0211EM F400 Service life 400 hours. (Compressor unit) The expected average life is 1 year, however it is advisable to replace the Model: RF6-12 nebuliser every 6 months during intensive use (or sooner if the nebu- (Nebuliser and accessories) liser is clogged) to ensure maximum therapeutic effectiveness.

    HOW TO USE THE “RF6 Basic ” DUAL SPEED NEBULISER Due to the geometry inside the nebuliser it delivers a particle size providing effective treatment of the entire respiratory tract. The RF6 Basic nebuliser is especially suitable for paediatric use because the non-spill system prevents the medicine from leaking out even if it accidently tips over (tested to work with up to 5 ml of product, which is the average dose of the most common therapeutic applications).

    To replace the filter, pull it out as shown in the (Fig. 5). The filter is designed so that it is always fitted in its housing. Do not replace the filter during use. Only use original Flaem accessories or spare parts, no liability is accepted if non-original parts or accessories are used.
