If a different pressure differential is required (e.g. 45Pa for lobbies), modify the rPI parameter to the corresponding
value.
The output frequencies for manual control (ON & MIN/MAX) will be determined by the minimum and maximum neces-
sary airflows on site, to accomplish the different defined criteria.
Simulate a fire scenario and check the frequencies at which the targets for pressure differential and air velocity are
reached, for the closed and open door scenarios. Modify the LSP parameter for MIN speed and the HSP parameter for
MAX speed as necessary. The ON mode will force the fan to operate at those speeds ignoring the pressure sensor. This
way, firefighters will be able to carry out their tasks without the automatic system fluctuations, if needed. The MIN speed
will also be the one the fan will run at for daily ventilation, in case a weekly schedule controller is used, for example.
Note: to compensate potential misalignments in the building as time passes, it is important to verify during maintenan-
ce operations that the registered frequencies are still adequate to ensure a good operation, also of the manual control
(ON).
Note: In case a frequency lower than 30% (15Hz for nominal 50Hz, and 18Hz for nominal 60Hz) is required for MIN speed,
the overpressure relief dampers described in the EN 12101-6 will become more relevant, and they must be sized to
release excess pressure that may build-up in the protected space.
A high frequency for MIN speed could result from open doors or windows, or leakage higher than expected, and there-
fore the requirement linked to the higher airflow might not be met.
The following settings table shows the MYMn menu parameters and recommended values for each base frequency.

To modify the parameters in bold in the settings table, it will be necessary to access the MYMn menu, and change the
FbCd parameter from Start to Stop. Once the modifications are finished, it must be set back to Start. Otherwise, the
PDS CONTROL will remain in a FAULT state.
Note: in countries with a nominal frequency of 60Hz, pay attention to the fan nameplate. If it is designed to operate
at 50Hz, only the supply input frequency (bFr) should be changed to 60Hz. The fan must never operate at a frequency
higher than the nominal frequency indicated on its nameplate. If the fan is designed to operate at 60Hz, some additio-
nal parameters (FrS, LSP, HSP, POL, POH) will have to be modified to be within the values defined in the settings table.
It is recommended not to manipulate the equipment beyond what is indicated for the manual operating frequencies
(MIN / MAX), input / output frequencies and pressure differential target (these are marked with an asterisk "*" for
each input frequency) or to set values outside those defined. However, some parameters of the VSD could be modified
to try to help correct possible misalignments on site. This would be done under the responsibility of the installer. Failure
to adhere to these conditions will invalidate the S&P warranty.

5.4. VSD ERROR SUMMARY TABLE
M008 is a read only parameter, and is the reference of the last error registered by the VSD.
At the informative level it is important to review this parameter in case of FAULT.
