• Do not open or damage the batteries. The electrolyte released is corrosive and can
cause damage to the eyes or skin. May be toxic if swallowed.
• Do not place battery-powered tools or their batteries near fire or heat. This will
reduce the risk of explosion and possible injury.
• Batteries can explode in the presence of an ignition source, such as a pilot light. To
reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in the
presence of an open flame. An exploding battery can project debris and chemicals.
In case of exposure, rinse immediately with water.
• Do not crush, drop or damage the battery. Do not use a battery or charger that has
been dropped or hit hard. A damaged battery is liable to explode. Dispose of a
dropped or damaged battery immediately and properly.
• Be careful when handling batteries not to cause a short circuit between the battery
and conductive materials such as rings, bracelets and keys. The battery or
conductor could overheat and cause burns. Do not open or mutilate the batteries.

• When not in use, the lawnmower should be stored inside in a dry, locked place -
out of the reach of children.
• Store the tool carefully. Keep the hedge trimmer clean for better and safer
performance. Follow the instructions for correct maintenance. Do not attempt to
clean and/or unblock the tool without first removing the battery.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose the tool to rain or use it on wet
surfaces. Store the hedge trimmer inside.
• Keep these instructions. Refer to them often and use them to instruct others who
may use this battery-powered tool. If you lend this tool to someone, lend them this
manual as well.

• Keep children out of the work area and under the supervision of a
responsible adult.

• Stay alert and switch off the hedge trimmer if a child or any other person
enters the work area.
• Look back and down at small children before and during the back cut.
