Description :
CO reactor that can be expanded as required with maximum di usion rate of CO in water.
The modular design of the JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN SPIRAL reactor allows the reactor to be adapted for optimum CO utilisation in practically
any size of aquarium. The basic version with 10 modules provides the optimal CO amounts for aquariums up to 400 l. An extension JBL PROFLORA
CO TAIFUN SPIRAL EXTEND with five modules increases the range by 200 l. The unique design of the spiral channel up which the CO bubbles
rise, with ventilation slits at the sides, allows the complete di usion of the CO into the surrounding water without the need for an additional water
pump to create turbulence. The transparency of the reactor allows the rising bubbles to be closely observed.
5.5. CO di user JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN GLASS MIDI (JBL PROFLORA CO BASIC SET only)
Description:
Elegant glass di user with ceramic membrane. The ceramic membrane ensures extra-fine CO bubbles, through which the CO di uses perfectly
into the water. The reactor is ideal for supplying CO to aquariums up to 300 l and cannot be extended.

Description:
3 m special hose, impermeable to CO , for loss-free supply of CO to the aquarium.
5.7. Bubble counter JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN COUNT SAFE with integrated backflow stop
Description:
Bubble counter with integrated backflow stop for convenient control of the CO quantity.
The bubble counter JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN COUNT SAFE allows convenient control of the CO quantity. An integrated backflow stop provides
additional protection against backflowing water. The installation of a separate backflow protection is not necessary. Hose screw connections at the
inlet and outlet ensure safety. The enclosed screws can also be used for fastening to rougher furniture surfaces.
Note on the function of the integrated backflow protection: A built-in seal is „pre-tensioned" by a spring and thus prevents water from penetrating
expensive solenoid valves, pressure regulators and CO pressurised gas cylinders. CO has a very strong di usion force which, in the case of „nor-
mal" non-return valves without a spring, would draw the water out of the aquarium through the valve and into the CO pressurised gas cylinders.

control has a modern coloured touch display as well as a whole range of useful features never before incorporated in equipment of this class. A multilingual
menu guides you easily and safely through all the functions. The complete equipment runs on low voltage (12V), providing the highest possible safety.

6. Installation scheme
The following figure shows a schematic installation overview. For the sake of clarity, we have limited ourselves to showing the CO -carrying parts.
Sensors and voltage supply lines are not shown. Only the connecting cable from the CO CONTROL to the solenoid valve is shown.
7. Installation step by step
7.1. Mounting the CO reactor (chap. 5.4.) or CO di user (chap. 5.5.).
JBL PROFLORA CO BASIC SET:

Rinse the JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN GLASS MIDI CO di user (chap. 5.5.) with lukewarm tap water and connect it to the CO hose (chap. 5.6.).
Place the di user in a position where there is a gentle water movement as close as possible to the bottom of the aquarium.

First attach the JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN SPIRAL EXTEND extensions according to the aquarium height to the JBL PROFLORA CO TAIFUN
SPIRAL CO reactor (chap. 5.4.).
Rinse the reactor with lukewarm tap water and place it vertically in the aquarium in a position with slight water movement. The top edge should be
approx. 2 cm below the water level. Prevent plants or decorative objects as much as possible from blocking the slots of the individual modules.
7.2. Installing the CO permanent test

Install the CO permanent test (chap. 5.9.) in the aquarium according to the instructions enclosed.
