To guarantee you the highest reliability when using the JBL PROFLORA CO CONTROL contained in the systems above, the systems are sold without
a pH sensor. When purchasing the device make sure to also purchase a new pH SENSOR SET. Your specialist pet shop will have one in stock for you.

Congratulations on your purchase of this ultramodern JBL PROFLORA CO system from SYSTEM U- M- or V. Whether with disposable or
refillable CO pressurised gas cylinders, precise and easy-to-use technology ensures a convenient and safe supply of CO to your aquarium. This will
give you beautiful and vibrant aquarium plants almost in no time at all.
Di erentiating between the systems and sets:
SYSTEM BIO: CO gas is produced from biological fermentation processes.
SYSTEM M: Reusable CO pressurised gas cylinders with thread W21.8 x 1/14" are refillable.
SYSTEM U: Disposable CO pressurised gas cylinders with thread M10x1 are not refillable.
SYSTEM V: VARIO sets do not contain CO pressurised gas cylinders. However, they can be operated with M and U CO pressurised gas cylinders.
Special features of the SYSTEM V:
JBL PROFLORA CO fertiliser systems of SYSTEM V di er in their design in that no CO pressurised gas cylinders are included. All descriptions for
SYSTEM M also apply to SYSTEM V.
Intended use:
The product is designed for use in an aquarium only. The product is to be used indoors only. It is intended for private use only and is not suitable for
commercial use.
Use the product only as described in this instruction manual. Any other use will be deemed inappropriate and may result in property damage or
personal injury. The product is not a child's toy.
2. Safety instructions
Please read and observe the following safety instructions for a safe and hazard-free handling of the CO pressurised gas cylinders.
Safety instructions:
1. Follow the safety instructions for handling CO . These can be found on the CO pressurised gas cylinders.
2. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance and its power supply unit.
3. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that described in these instructions for use.
4. Do not operate or store the unit in places where there is a risk of frost.
5. Appliance may only be used indoors.
6. Appliance may only be used in a dry environment.
Disposal: Do not dispose of this device and the power unit in the normal household waste. Please follow your local disposal regulations for electrical
equipment.
