    II-2. Power on the Router Connect the power adapter to the product's power port and then to the wall outlet. Note: 1. Make sure the “PWR/SYS” LED is ON (Blue), “PWR/SYS” LED Blinking duration is 90 sec. 2. Make sure the “5G” or “4G” LED is ON (Blue).

    II-3. Mounting the Router Wall-mount Step 1: Unscrew the wall-mount brackets. Step 2: Exchange the position of the brackets.

    III. Web-based Configuration This section describes how to navigate the web-based switch configuration utility through web browser. Be sure to disable any browser pop-up blocker. Browser Restrictions  If you are using older versions of Internet Explorer, you cannot directly use an IPv6 address to access the device.

    V. Home Page This section deals with the Internet, Router and Client settings. V-1 Internet Item Description Internet Status Displays the Internet status. Internet Displays the type of Internet connection. Connection Type WAN IP Displays the WAN IP address. Displays the Integrated Circuit Card Identifier which is the unique 19- or 20-digit number that is ICCID used to identify a SIM card internationally.

    V-2 Router Item Description Device Model Displays the device model type. Firmware Version Displays the device’s firmware version. LAN IP Displays the device’s LAN IP address. Device Code Displays the device’s code to be able to identify it on a network.

    VII. Cellular This section deals with cellular settings. VII-1 Switch Mode - Auto This page allows you to set the cellular settings.

    Click the Save & Apply button to save and implement your changes. Item Description Input the latency threshold in seconds. Default is 12, Latency Threshold usually between 2 and 20. The larger the value, the (Seconds) worse the network quality. Select SIM1 or SIM2 from the drop-down menu.

    Packet Data Protocol (PDP) type specifies the type of IP address (IPv4, IPv6, or both) that will be assigned to the device for data communication. The options include: IPV4: Only an IPv4 address will be PDP Type assigned. IPV6: Only an IPv6 address will be assigned.

    VIII-1 Manage Clients This image shows a "Manage Clients" section of a network device's user interface. Online Clients: This indicates the number of devices currently connected to the network.     IX. Advanced This section deals with the advanced features of the device. These features are divided into several sections, each with specific configuration options. IX-1 Network This section displays the Network settings options.

    IX-1.1 DHCP Click on the icon to configure DHCP settings, which assign IP addresses to devices on your network. Click the Save & Apply button to save the current configuration settings and apply them to the network.  DHCP (Toggle Switch): On: DHCP is enabled, meaning the device will automatically assign IP addresses to devices on the network.
  • Page 33 Number of Clients: Specifies the maximum number of devices that can be assigned IP addresses by the DHCP server. In this example, it is set to 250. IP Range: Shows the range of IP addresses that the DHCP server will assign to devices on the network.

    IX-1.2 Net Monitor Click on the icon to check on the health of network connections (wired or cellular). Wired Clicking the Save & Apply will save the current settings and apply them to the device. DNS (Toggle Switch): This enables or disables DNS (Domain Name System) monitoring. If enabled, the device will check DNS availability.
  • Page 35 Ping Timeout: Set to 5 (in seconds). This is the amount of time the device will wait for a response after sending a ping request before considering it a timeout. Ping Times: Set to 3. This is the number of times the device will ping the target address. DNS Server: Set to 8.8.4.4, which is another Google DNS server.
  • Page 36 Cellular Check DNS (Toggle Switch): The DNS monitoring is turned on, meaning the device will check DNS server availability as part of its network monitoring. Ping (Toggle Switch): The Ping monitoring is also enabled. The device will send ping requests to monitor network connectivity.
  • Page 37 Check Address: Set to 8.8.8.8 (Google's public DNS server). The device will ping this IP address to check if it can reach the internet or a specific network service. Ping Timeout: Set to 12 (in seconds). This is the amount of time the device will wait for a response after sending a ping request before considering it a timeout.

    IX-1.3 Diagnostics Click on the icon to troubleshooting network issues by testing connectivity. Select the required tool from the drop-down menu. Upon inputting the IP address, click the Perform button to run the diagnostic. Ping: Tests the reachability of a host (e.g., a website or another device) on an IP network.

    IX-1.4 VPN Client Click on the icon to set up a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection on the device, allowing secure communication over a potentially insecure network. Once the settings are configured, click the Save & Apply button to save and apply the VPN client configuration.
  • Page 40 VPN Server: Enter the IP address or domain name of the VPN server to which the device will connect. Username: Enter the username required to authenticate with the VPN server. Password: Enter the password associated with the provided username. The password is masked for security.

    IX-1.5 LAN Settings Click on the icon to configure IPv4 LAN settings. IPv4 address: This is the IP address assigned to the router on the local network. Devices connected to the router will use this IP address as their gateway to access other networks, such as the internet.

    IX-1.6 HNAT Click on the icon to configure Hardware NAT settings. o HNAT (Hardware NAT): When enabled, data is forwarded through dedicated hardware, improving data forwarding efficiency and internet speed. o Client Management Functions: Disabling HNAT means traffic statistics and network speed limitations will not function properly since data bypasses the CPU.

    IX-1.7 AweSeed Click on the icon to configure Hardware NAT settings. Basic Settings Click on the toggle switch to enable or disable the Aweseed virtual network service, allowing quick setup of an on-demand virtual network. o SN/Account: Enter the serial number or account information to activate or configure the Aweseed service.

    IX-1.8 Port Forwarding Click on the icon to set up a port forwarding rule. Rule Count: Displays the number of configured port forwarding rules. In  the above image, it's set to 0, meaning no rules have been added yet. Add Button: Allows you to add a new port forwarding rule.

    IX-1.9 TTL Click on the icon to display a configuration screen for setting the TTL (Time to Live) value for IPv4 packets on a network device. TTL (Time to Live): This parameter controls the lifespan or hop limit of data packets as they travel across a network.

    IX-1.10 IPv6 Setting Click on the icon to configure IPv6 LAN settings, generally used in advanced network configurations. o Host Mode: This dropdown allows you to select the IPv6 host configuration mode. SLAAC (Stateless Address Autoconfiguration) is a method that enables devices on the network to automatically configure their own IP addresses using router advertisements.

    IX-1.11 Access Click on the icon to set rules based on device addresses to control which devices can connect to the network . Access Control Toggle: This switch enables or disables access control. When switched on, access control settings become active, allowing you to manage which devices can connect to the network.

    IX-2 Cellular This section displays the Cellular settings options. IX-2.1 Cellular Status Click on the icon to monitor and troubleshoot the cellular connection of a device. Cellular Info SIM card not detected: This message is shown in red and indicates that the device is not detecting a SIM card.

    Scan Info Scan Info: contains details related to scanning for cellular networks or nearby cell towers. Scan Neighbourcell: Clicking this button initiates a scan to detect nearby cellular cells (cell towers) that the device can potentially connect to. This feature is typically used to check the strength and availability of cellular networks in the vicinity.

    IX-3 System This section displays the System settings options. IX-3.1 Backup / Flash Firmware Click on the icon to manage firmware upgrades, backups, and restorations of the device's configuration. Local Firmware Upgrade  Keep settings: Checkbox to retain the current device settings after the firmware upgrade.

    Detect new version: Button to check online for the latest available firmware version. If available, the user can download and upgrade directly from the internet.  Backup / Restore Restore backup: Option to upload a backup configuration file to restore the device settings.
