3.4 AES50 (16 channels)
An alternative setup with AES50 provides 16 channels instead of 24. The cabling between the hub and the P24 devices is the same as
shown in figure 2.
In this setup, the 16 channels sent from the console are sent to the ULTRANET OUTPUT. No talkback is sent,
since all 16 ULTRANET channels are used.
Each P24 assigns the first 8 channels sent from the console (AES50 A downstream channels 33-40) to the first 8 faders.
AES50 A downstream channels 41-48 are assigned as stereo groups on each P24 on faders 9 to 12.
3.5 ULTRANET (16 channels)
16 channels can also be sent to the P24HUB via ULTRANET from a console or other Behringer P16 monitoring system devices
(P16-I and P16-D). The cabling between the hub and the P24 devices is the same as shown in the previous figures.
Talkback is not received from devices connected via ULTRANET and is only sent to them when the P24HUB SOURCE is StageConnect or
AES50 in a 24-channel configuration.
3.6 AES50 Daisy chain
Multiple P24HUBS can be linked together via AES50 to provide independent monitoring mixes through 8 P24s connected to each hub. The
AES50 B port is connected to the following hub's AES50 A port. Note that the connections between each hub and its respective P24s have
been simplified in figure 3 since they are the same as in figure 2.
