ChloroStar
Digital chlorine sensor
Introduction
The ChloroStar digital chlorine sensor is a rugged,
reliable instrument designed to deliver accurate
ChloroStar Sensor
chlorine data across a wide measurement range,
Digital chlorine sensor
using the latest electrochemical technology for
chlorine measurement.
The sensor is designed for use with ABB multi-input
transmitters, such as the AWT420, which feature
hot-plugging capability. Hot-plugging lets new or
replacement sensors be connected without needing
to power down the transmitter.
The ChloroStar Sensor is available in either a free or
total chlorine version, depending on process
requirements. The sensor is designed for use with
the InFlow Multi-Cell modular flow cell, providing
advanced features such as pH compensation, low-
flow detection and ultra low-flow use with the
Steady-Flow module add-on.
For information on the ChloroStar Sensor in
hazardous areas, refer to INF/ANAINST/014.
