Instructions for Use
Intended Use
The Liko SupportVest is a comfortable sit-to-stand vest that is
easy to use and requires minimal individual adjustment. It is
suitable for patients who require a lot of assistance in standing,
but are capable of standing steadily on their own once they
are up.
The SupportVest supports the patient around the back and
under the arms. The inside is lined with a polyester/cotton lining
fabric, which prevents the vest from sliding up on the body.
Intended for use in following environments: Health care,
Intensive care, Emergency ward, Rehabilitation, Habilitation
environment and home healthcare environment.
Sizes
The SupportVest is available in different sizes.
to choose the correct size in order to achieve the highest level
of comfort and safety.
In this document, the person being lifted is referred to as the patient and the person helping is referred to as the caregiver.

Lifting and transferring a patient always involves a certain level of risk. Read the instructions for use for both the patient
lift and lifting accessories before use. It is important to completely understand the contents of the instructions for use.
The equipment should only be used by a trained caregiver. To be trained, a caregiver needs to read and understand the
Instructions for Use. Ensure that the lifting accessories are suitable for the lift used. Exercise care and caution during use.
As a caregiver, you are always responsible for the patient's safety. You must be aware of the patient's ability to make it
through the lifting situation. If something is unclear, contact the manufacturer or supplier.

Product Description
Waist Belt
The SupportVest has a waist belt that keeps the vest in place
around the upper body during application.
Padding
A padding liner of synthetic sheepskin is available as an
accessory. The padding is secured with a zipper.
A SupportVest equipped with padding offers a softer surface
that distributes pressure more evenly.
Suitable Lifts
The SupportVest is intended for use with the Sabina II 350
SlingBar on the Sabina sit-to-stand lift. The SupportVest in size
XL can be used with the Comfort SlingBar on the Sabina sit-to-
stand lift.

The Sabina sit-to-stand lift and the SupportVest make a lift

The measurement of the patient and the vest width measurement of the sling gives guidance when choosing the size of the sling.

- Page 7 Description of Waist Belt Function The waist belt on the SupportVest is intended to hold the vest in place around the patient. It is not intended for lifting the patient or securing the patient in the vest. If the patient requires a waist belt for safety reasons, we recommend using the Liko SafetyVest or Liko ComfortVest.
