Version: 2025-01-06-RevH
NOTE
The possible number of applications does not depend on the processing cycles
but rather on the use of the device and the resulting wear and tear. The
product's service life is therefore determined by signs of wear and tear and
damage occurring during use.
Dispose of damaged products in accordance with section 10 Transport and
disposal. Do not use any products with obvious signs of wear or damage.
Only use cleaning agents / disinfectants that are authorized for the processing of
medical devices. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the cleaning agents /
disinfectants.
If unsuitable cleaning agents or disinfectants are used, this can have negative
effects on the instruments:
- Damage or corrosion
- Discoloration of the product
- Corrosion of metal parts
- Reduced service life
Follow the instructions of the cleaning agent / disinfectant manufacturer. Do not
use any abrasive cleaning agents / disinfectants. The manufacturer recommends
using only EN ISO 15883-1 and -2-compliant washer-disinfectors for automated
cleaning/disinfection.
The head of the instruments can be sterilized. Do not use sterilization
temperatures above 135°C (275 °F).
Ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended for processing the instruments, as this
could reduce the product's service life.
Assembly and disassembly are described in sections 6.3 Assembly, 8.1.1
Detaching the head and 8.1.2 Detaching the powder cap.
