Product Introduction 1.1 Overview The TBS2640V2 Video Encoder is a cutting-edge solution designed for professional video distribution, supporting up to 16 independent SDI inputs. Built with 16 separate boards, each input operates autonomously, ensuring that if one input fails, the remaining channels continue streaming without interruption.

    2. How it works? Control Interface and Network Configuration:  The TBS2640V2-SDI is controlled via a web-based graphical user interface (web GUI). The recommended browsers for accessing the web GUI are Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and others that support modern web standards.

The sub-stream is a secondary video stream that can be encoded with different resolution, bitrate, and frame rate settings compared to the main stream. It is often used for monitoring, recording, or streaming to secondary destinations.

Ensure that your network has a DHCP server configured to provide IP addresses. DHCP: OFF  When DHCP is disabled, you can set a static IP address for the encoder. This is useful in networks where IP addresses are manually assigned or when the encoder needs a fixed IP address for consistent access.

    The encode size refers to the resolution of the encoded video output. With the TBS2640V2-SDI 3G-SDI Video Encoder, the encode size can be set to various resolutions. When set to "Auto", the encode size will be the same as the input resolution. This encoder supports resolution scaling, meaning you can encode a higher resolution input (such as 1920x1080p) to a lower resolution output (like 1280x720p or 720x576p).
