1. Product Introduction 1.1 Overview TBS2812 is a professional 1U 12 channels 4K HDMI Video Encoder that enables high-quality content streaming and display. 3. 1 Dashboard Dashboard shows the system status: CPU and Memory usage, network data statistics of incoming and outgoing, HDMI inputs status. 3. 2 Encode There are three sections for encode settings: Video, Audio and TS configuration. Each channel has its own section to be configured the parameters separately. -

3.2.1 Video Configuration Video Codec: supports H.264 / H.265 Profile: H.264 profile: baseline, main, high H.265 profile: main Video Size: Auto,640x360,640x480,704x576,720x480,720x576,1024x576,1280x720,1680x1056,1920x1080,2048x1152,256 0x1440,2560x1600,3840x2160 Auto means the encode size (output resolution) is same as the input. Frame Rate: 5 ~60 fps. If the input source is 4K_30fps, it is recommended to set the output frame rate to 30fps. For example, inputsource is 1080p_60hz, the output framerate is recommended to be 60fps or 30fps (same frame rate as the source or a half as the source). -

Tips: 1) The smaller bitrate, the more compression on the video, which will lead to reduce video quality. 2) The bitrate setting should be based the network status, at least ensuring enough bandwidth to transmit the data. The bitrate setting should match with the resolution and frame rate as well. 3) PCR Adjust (TS Null Packet): PCR adjust is to add TS null packet according to video’s bitrate. -

Batch setting: Make the other 7 HDMI channels having the same setting with the HDMI-1. (Only the values in “Video Config” and Audio Config” are the same, the ones in “TS Config” will be incremental.) 3.3 Stream TBS2812 Comix 4K encodersupports HTTP, HLS(M3U8), RTSP, SRT, UDP/RTP unicast & multicast, RTMP/RTMPS output. 3.3.1 HTTP stream setting Enable: Activate RTSP stream. -

In this case, there may be one or more senders, and the information is distributed to a set of receivers (There may be no receivers, or any number of receivers). -

Suffix: Set a name for HLS stream. Port: Set the port for HDMI1. The other 7 HDMI channels will use the same port automatically. “Save”: Store the settings. - Page 14 Listener: The "agent" can be contacted by any peer caller. Note that a listener can accept multiple callers, but srt-live-transmit does not use this ability; after the first connection, it no longer accepts new connections. In listener mode, only need to set the “port” and “latency”. Port: The Listener’s port should be the same as the Caller’s.
- Page 15 SRT supports 3 kinds of AES encrypted keys. The key length can be 16（AES-128）, 24 (AES-192) or 32(AES-256). The passphrase can be set by any combination of letter (a~z, A~Z), number (0~9) and special characters (“!@#$%^&*?”).For example, you can set AES-16 to AbcD1234efgh%&#! The passphrase can be set manually or be created automatically by clicking “Generate”...

Gateway: Input the correct address to match local network. “Save”: Store the settings. 1) TBS2812 Comix encoder’s default static IP is 192.168.1.168. When first time setup the encoder, please make sure both the encoder and the PC/Laptop connect to a same Network, also PC/Laptop has the same IP range as Encoder’s. -

But after setting a new dynamic IP address, WEB UI won’t open a new page automatically, users have tomanually key in new IP address in the browser to log in the encoder again. PS: OLED screen in TBS2812 Encoder displays encoder status, IP address, CPU & memory usage, etc. 3.4.2 Login Password Set new login password: Only need to inputnew login password and click “Save”... - Page 18 means of a light solution of detergent and water applied with a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly before using the system again. CAUTION: Do not use for the cleaning alcohol or its derivatives, these products can attack the mechanical properties of the materials and diminish their useful time of life.
