nominal voltage of 230 V with a fre-
quency of 50 Hz. For other voltage
or frequency values, other parame-
ters are possible.
Information on noise and vibration
The declared total noise and vibration val-
ues have been measured in accordance
with the standard test method defined
in EN 60745-1, EN 62841-1, EN 62841-2-2
and can be used to compare one power
tool with another.
The declared total noise and vibration
levels can be used in preliminary assess-
ments of exposure to noise and vibration.
WARN ING!
Vibration transmission and noise
emission during the use of a pow-
er tool may differ from the declared
values depending on how the pow-
er tool is used, especially on the
type of material being processed.
Wear personal protective equip-
ment in accordance with the work-
ing conditions.
The declared noise and vibration levels
apply to the work for which the power
tool is intended.
Wear hearing protection to reduce the
negative effects of noise.
8. PREPARATION FOR WORK
WARN ING!
Disconnect the power plug from the
electrical outlet before preparing
to use the power tool.
Unpack the power tool and inspect the
package for external damage.
If you have stored or transported the
power tool at a temperature lower than
the temperature at which it is to be used,
make sure that there is no condensation
on the power tool. If condensation forms
on the components and parts of the pow-
er tool, further preparation for use or op-
14
eration is prohibited until the condensa-
tion has completely dried.
Installation of an additional handle and
depth stop HD-80, HD-120, HD-120M, HD-

For ease of use, the additional handle can
be set to any position.
– Turn the additional handle (3) in the di-
rection of the arrow to loosen the han-
dle bracket (1) and then install the han-
dle bracket (1) on the power tool (make
sure that the corresponding guides of
the power tool body are in the seats of
the handle bracket) (Fig. 4).
– If necessary, install a depth stop (2) in
the corresponding hole in the bracket
(1) (Fig. 4).
– Set the additional handle (1) (Fig. 5) to
a convenient position by rotating it rel-
ative to the power tool body and fix
its position by screwing the handle (1)
(Fig. 6) in the direction of the arrow.
Installing accessories
