    Apex RT-P-1600 Roof Top Tent Check your roof top tent’s fittings periodically to ensure they are secure. As a general rule of thumb, approximately once a week based on usage, loads and distances travelled is recommended. Always check that the latches are correctly sealed and ensure the product is closed correctly and locked before operating your vehicle.

Refit Grommets for Waterproofing: • Place the grommets back into any unused holes to maintain the tent’s waterproofing. • Proper placement of the grommets is essential to prevent water ingress and protect the interior of your tent from moisture.
  • Page 13 Apex RT-P-1600 Roof Top Tent Fitting Instructions Take your required size channel bolt for your fitment choice of Formal assembly or inverted assembly along with your slider. Note: M8x50mm channel bolt is for formal assembly and M8x70mm channel bolt is for inverted assembly.
  • Page 14 4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to fix the other channel bolts and sliders to the fitting extrusion rails. 5. With the assistance of at least three other people (4 in total), carefully lift the roof top tent over your vehicle and rest the tent on top of your roof rack/ platform, taking care to prevent the protruding bolts from damaging anything.

  • Page 18 Step 3 Connect the four gas strut safety system bars, stow the carry bag in an easy to remember place before connecting the ladder at your desired entrance. Step 4 Disconnect the internal bungees and pack them in their respective zippered pockets.

    Apex RT-P-1600 Roof Top Tent Pack Down Instructions Step 1 Zip all windows up, leaving small gaps open to allow air to escape through the mesh screens. Step 2 Disconnect the four gas strut safety system bars, then place each bar inside the included drawstring carry bag.
  • Page 20 Step 4 Starting from the front, open the bungee system pockets and attach the bungee cords to the loops on the opposite wall. These will help pull the tent material inward as it collapses. Step 5 Close the rear entrance door most of the way, leaving the bottom section open and the handles positioned outside.
