4. Refit the Rails: Refit your rails using the 600mm set of holes for optimal placement. 5. Refit Grommets for Waterproofing: • Place the grommets back into any unused holes to maintain the tent’s waterproofing. • Proper placement of the grommets is essential to prevent water ingress and protect the interior of your tent from moisture.

Clamshell Apex RT-C-1400 Roof Top Tent Fitting Instructions Take your required size channel bolt for your fitment choice of Formal assembly or inverted assembly along with your slider. Note: M8x50mm channel bolt is for formal assembly and M8x70mm channel bolt is for inverted assembly.

4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to fix the other channel bolts and sliders to the fitting extrusion rails. 5. With the assistance of at least three other people (4 in total), carefully lift the roof top tent over your vehicle and rest the tent on top of your roof rack/ platform, taking care to prevent the protruding bolts from damaging anything.

Step 4 Disconnect the rear external bungee cord and store it in its respective pocket. Step 5 Undo the zipper gussets around each entrance and connect the spring poles. Place the bottom of the poles into the inserts at the base of the tent and slot the rubber end caps in the slots at the top of the entrance cover.
Clamshell Apex RT-C-1400 Roof Top Tent Step 6 Disconnect the internal bungee cords and pack them in their respective zippered pockets. Step 7 Connecting the Anderson Plug Extension Cord: 1. Prepare the Anderson Plug: • Find the 300cm Anderson plug extension cord provided with your tent which will come in your ladder bag when shipped to you.
Pack Down Instructions Step 1 Disconnect the gas strut safety system bars, and pack them in the carry bag. Step 2 Disconnect the entrance spring poles on the entrance covers. Step 3 Close all internal windows and side entrances, leaving small gaps open to allow air to escape through the mesh screens.

Clamshell Apex RT-C-1400 Roof Top Tent Step 4 Open the internal wall bungee pockets and connect each bungee to the wall loop opposite. The bungee cords are colour coded to make this process simple. Step 5 Close and seal the entrance cover zippered gussets.

Step 7 Use the pull-down handle or attach the pull down strap, to collapse the rear section. Step 8 Walk around the tent checking that no fabric or material is caught between the sealed tent. If the bungee cords are installed in the proper locations with colour code clips matching there should be no fabric outside of the seal.
