An upgrade to 6.25.1.13 (or higher) is necessary to use new 130ml ink cartridges
Procedure Summary
To update the firmware on your Perfecta® Q36 printer, follow the steps below. First, visit the
VariQuest Resource Center (VRC) and download the firmware update file titled Q36 Firmware Update
6.25.1.13, located in the "Download Software" section. After downloading, save the file to a USB
device. If your Q36 is connected to the internet, we recommend enabling automatic firmware updates
to ensure your printer stays up to date with the latest version moving forward. Please refer to the
instructions located at the end of this document to turn on automatic firmware updates.
Firmware Update Procedure

Once you have downloaded the file and
saved it to a USB device, insert the USB

device into the USB port located on top
of the Perfecta Q36 printer.
