EN: The Jane is controlled with manual (toggle) manipulation of the shafts, giving you
unlimited choice of shaft combinations. The large shed makes it easy to throw a boat shuttle
or pass a stick shuttle. The overhead beater is designed for maximum weaving area, and an
even beat.
The Jane can be operated on a table or placed on a floor stand (separate accessory - see
accessories overview). The Jane folds flat, even with a warp on and locks in a folded position.
The Jane 40 and Jane 50 have a handle to easily carry the loom.
The loom is partially pre-assembled. This manual will guide you through the loom assembly,
step by step. In the second section you will find operating instructions and an overview of
available accessories and common spare parts.
NL: De Jane is een getouw met handbediening van de schachten, waardoor je onbegrensd
bent in de keuze van schachtcombinaties.Door de grote weefopening (sprong) kun je
makkelijk met een schuitje of steeklat inslaan.Het hangende weefriet zorgt voor een mooie
aanslag en optimale ruimte om te weven.De Jane kan op tafel geplaatst worden of op een
apart verkrijgbaar onderstel (zie overzicht accessoires).
De Jane is plat opvouwbaar. Bij de Jane 40 en Jane 50 is een handvat op de zijkant
aangebracht om het getouw makkelijk te kunnen dragen.
Het weefgetouw is gedeeltelijk voorgemonteerd. Deze handleiding helpt je stapsgewijs bij de
eindmontage. In het tweede gedeelte vind je gebruiks instructies en een overzicht van de
beschikbare accessoires en reserve-onderdelen.

    NL: Het afstellen van de juiste schachthoogte is belangrijk voor het optimaal functioneren van de Jane. Als de schachten te laag staan afgesteld krijg je geen optimale weefopening. Als ze te hoog zijn afgesteld kunnen de schachtkoorden van de wieltjes getild worden.Als er een schering op het getouw staat lopen de scheringdraden door het midden van de hevelopening Om de schachthoogtes af te stellen zet je Jane recht overeind op tafel.
