JURA X8 MAINTENANCE GUIDELINE
CLEANING THE MILK SYSTEM:
To ensure that the milk system in the dual spout always works properly, you must clean it
daily when you have been preparing milk-based coffees.
Add 10 ml of milk system cleaner to the rear part of the container (If you are using granules,
turn the bottle upside down and press once, let it dissolve before starting the cleaning).
Press the 'Program' button, place the container under the dual spout.
Remove the milk pipe from the milk container and connect the milk pipe to the container for
milk system cleaning.
Press the 'Clean the milk system' button, press "Start", press "Next", "Next" and "Next".
The cleaning starts, water flows through the coffee and milk spout.
The operation stops automaticallyand the X8 is once more ready for use.

X DISMANTLING, CLEANING AND RINSING THE DUAL SPOUT:
The dual spout must be dismantled and rinse daily if milk has been prepared to make sure it
functions perfectly and in the interests of hygiene procedures.
Remove the milk pipe and rinse thoroughly under water
Pull the cover of the dual spout forward and off
Remove the milk system from the dual spout – as seen on side picture =>
Dismantle the milk system into individual spout, rinse all parts under running water (scrap the
dried-on milk residue)
Reassemble the milk system, fit it back in the dual spout, press firmly
Fit the cover on the dual spout and connect the milk pipe
CHANGING THE FILTER:
Remove and empty the water tank, open the filter holder, remove the Pro Smart filter
cartridge.
Insert the filter cartridge into the water tank, exerting slight pressure, close the filter holder.
Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert the tank, water flows directly into the
drip tray, empty the drip tray, put them back into the machine.
