Connect to a network You can connect your Index Everest-D V5 to a network. This can be either a wired network or a Wi- Fi network. By default the braille embosser is set up to support network using DHCP. If you prefer to connect using a static IP address instead, you can read how to set it up in the user manual.
Direct-Braille. The file will be sent to your installed braille embosser and printed with the current Braille layout. If you have more than one Index braille embosser installed on your computer, you will see a list of your installed braille embossers. Select the braille embosser you wish to print from.
Since Index Braille doesn't have a braille embosser for printing braille and ink on the paper we have developed a special work flow for this. For this work flow you need to have an Index Everest-D V5 and a laser/inkjet printer. Read more in the section Print braille and ink 3.1.1...

Braille printing How to load ink paper to Inde Everest-D V5 Now go back to the Preview in your Index Everest-D V5 and select to view the document in braille again. Preview - braille Press Print and the document will be printed in braille on the paper with the text.
