Minolta MND70 First Use Operating the Battery Door Unlock the battery door by sliding the locking latch left with your thumb or nail as shown in the figure below, and release. The battery door should unlock and spring open. Installing the Battery Insert the included lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment with the metal contacts facing the inside of the camera as shown in the figure below.
Minolta MND70 Installing the Memory Card Insert a MicroSD memory card into the battery compartment with the metal contacts facing up as shown in the figure below. Push the memory card in until you hear an audible click. The MicroSD memory card can only be inserted in one way. Do not force the card in if it will not go in smoothly.
Minolta MND70 Charging the Battery Connect your camera to the included AC adaptor and USB-C cable. Insert the small end of the USB plug into the camera USB-C port under the protective door as shown in the figure below. Plug the larger end into the included AC adaptor. While charging, the LED indicator light will light up solid red and will turn off once charging is completed.
Minolta MND70 Shooting Modes The MND70 includes several advanced shooting modes. To switch shooting modes, rotate the Mode Dial at the top of the camera. The dial can be rotated in either direction. An explanation of each mode is listed below the figure.
Minolta MND70 Time Lapse (Photo) Mode Time Lapse (Photo) mode will allow you to enable an automatic capture of photos set by a time interval and duration. There are 2 settings that will determine the Interval Duration The Interval setting is the amount of time the camera will wait in between each auto capture.
Minolta MND70 Slow Motion Mode Slow Motion mode will allow you to record a slow-motion video. The camera will record a video at a higher frame rate resulting in a slower motion. The file will also play back in slower motion. The Resolution setting will determine the capture quality and play back duration.

Using the Zoom Function 1.15 The MND70 is equipped with a 16x digital zoom function. Digital zoom enlarges your photo electronically by cropping and enlarging the central part of the photograph. To operate the zoom function, push and hold the ZOOM IN (Tele) button to zoom in closer to the subject, and push and hold the ZOOM OUT (Wide) button to zoom out away from the subject.
Minolta MND70 Using the LED Flash / Video Light 1.16 The MND70 -in LED flash provides supplemental light for any scene. It is also suitable for metering and shooting in darker scenes to improve the exposure. range is 8 16 ft. To enable the LED Flash or Video Light options, press the RIGHT/FLASH button and cycle through the Flash / Light options.
Using the Selfie Lens 1.17 The MND70 is equipped with a secondary selfie lens on the back of the camera. This allows you to snap creative and fun selfie shots in any shooting mode easily without the need of complicated equipment or maneuvers. The Selfie Lens can be enabled in any Shooting Mode.
Using the Viewfinder 1.18 The MND70 is equipped with a built-in glass viewfinder. The viewfinder is a small window that a photographer looks through to see what a photo will look like before they capture. The viewfinder allows you to frame a shot and show an approximation of what the captured photo might look like.
Minolta MND70 Attachments 1.19 The MND70 supports many different accessory attachment capabilities such as additional lighting and external microphones. The top of the camera features an accessory shoe mount. The side protective door features a 3.5mm microphone input and HDMI-D output.
Minolta MND70 Connecting to a Computer 1.20 Your camera can connect to a computer to transfer photo and video files for viewing and editing, or to use your camera as a PC Camera. To connect the camera to your computer, open the protective cover on the side of the camera to access the USB-C port.
Minolta MND70 1.20.1 Transferring Media to PC -C cable to your computer, powered on your camera, and entered MSDC / Mass Storage Mode on your camera, your computer should recognize it immediately. You should see the AutoPlay window pop up.
Connecting to an HDMI Input 1.21 The MND70 includes an HDMI output port for connecting to an HDMI TV or monitor for live viewing. In order to use the HDMI output on the camera, a required Mini HDMI to HDMI cable is required (not included).

Minolta MND70 2.1.5 Quality This menu adjusts the visible detail of a photograph by determining the level of compression that the camera uses when saving photos to a memory card. For example, High uses the least amount of compression for saving, and as a result produces a higher photo quality.
Minolta MND70 2.2 Photo Burst Mode Power the camera on and rotate the Shooting Mode Dial at the top of the camera to Photo Burst mode. The dial can be rotated in either direction. Photo Burst Mode In Photo Burst mode, your camera automatically captures a series of photos in quick succession based on the settings defined in the menu.
