10.1
Periodic maintenance
The maintenance work indicated with a [1] in the table below may be
carried out by the user; all other work may only be carried out by
quali ed personnel. Before performing maintenance, check status of the
unit(s) in the Air Safety Portal. Then perform a visual check and noise check.
Action
Clean the outside of the machine with a mild detergent.
Clean the inside of the machine and remove the dust/
grease from the lter compartment.
Clean or replace the bag lter and/or compact lter(s).
Check the lter for damage.
10.2
Replacing the lter
Replace the lter:
•
in the event of damage
•
as soon as the extraction capacity becomes inadequate
Because the nature and degree of contamination greatly depend on factors
such as the exact application, humidity level, intensity of use etc., you will
have to determine the necessary replacement frequency based on
experience. Nevertheless, the lter should be checked regularly (every two
weeks to every two months).
WARNING
Contaminated lters often contain dust and dirt particles that
can pose a threat to health when inhaled. Therefore, wear a
proper, approved face mask when cleaning the lter.
10.2.1 Removing the lter

Switch the machine o with the main switch ( g. 4).
•
Remove the brackets/latches and open the grille.
•
Take the lter(s) out

Malfunctions DFI
If the machine does not work or does not work correctly, consult the
checklist at the bottom of the page to see if you can solve the problem
yourself. If not, seek the assistance of quali ed personnel.

Always check rst whether the fault is mechanical or electrical.
Work on and repairs to the electrical system may only be carried
out by trained, authorised service technicians.

power supply before carrying out any repairs. First read the repair

Send your order to your supplier and always provide the following
information:
- product name, supply voltage and serial number
(see identi cation plate)
- item number of the part concerned
- part name
- quantity
