Use of DFI
The product is suitable for extraction and ltration of dust and ne
particulates, cement, sawdust or wood dust etc.
Never use the product for the extraction of dust particles generated
during welding work on primed surfaces.
Never use the product for the extraction and/or ltration of vapours
from or produced during:
- gouging
- paint mist
- hot gases (continuously above 40 °C)
- corrosive gases (e.g. from acids)
- plasma cutting
- aluminium or magnesium grindings
- wire ame spraying
- burning cigarettes, cigars, oily rags or other burning particles, objects
and acids
-in all explosion-hazardous situations (this list is not exhaustive)
After switching o the motor, wait approx. 10 sec before removing
the lter(s).
Service, maintenance and repairs
In this manual, a clear distinction is made between service,
maintenance and repair work that may be carried out by the
user and that which may only be carried out by trained and
authorised service technicians.
Switch o the machine for maintenance.
Observe the speci ed maintenance intervals. Overdue maintenance
may result in high repair and overhaul costs and may invalidate
warranty claims.
Always use manufacturer-approved tools, parts, materials, lubricants
and service techniques. Never use worn tools and do not leave any
tools in or on the product.
Do not carry out any service, maintenance or repair work on the
product until it has been secured against unintentional operation.
Safety provisions that have been removed for service, maintenance or
repair purposes must be installed and checked for correct operation
immediately after these operations.
Regularly clean the inside of the housing.
Replace the lter on time.

USED PRODUCTS AND THE ENVIRONMENT

PACKAGING MATERIAL
The packaging used to transport and protect the product
consists mainly of the following recyclable substances:
- solid and corrugated cardboard
- polythene lm
- untreated wood
Therefore, do not dispose of the packaging as industrial waste.
Instead, ask your municipal waste management service where
you can submit the material.

Products you dispose of may still contain valuable substances and materials.

municipality about the possibilities for reuse or environmentally friendly
processing of the material.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

6.1
DFI: industrial extraction of dust and ne particulates
The DFI air cleaners are able to capture the dust and ne particulates
released in many industrial processes, which would normally remain in the
room, with a very high e ciency.
6.1.1
Method of extraction of the polluted air
Through intake grille.
6.2
Operation
DFI 30/60: The polluted air is sucked in and rst reaches the lter(s) ( g. 3).
All large particles are captured in this main lter.
DFI 8500: The polluted air is sucked in and rst reaches the main lter ( g. 3).
All large particles are captured in this main lter. The second lter in the
package is the nal lter ( g. 3).
Repairs may only be carried out by Euromate or by persons authorised by
Euromate. A maintenance contract is also possible.

OPERATION / STATUS
The main switch is used to switch the power on and o . The LED light on the
control box indicates the status of the machine. This is done using
di erent colours:

MAINTENANCE

If the following simple maintenance and cleaning operations are carried out
with due care and at the speci ed intervals, any problems can often be
detected and corrected before they lead to an interruption of service. The
maintenance intervals may vary from those speci ed, depending on the
speci c working and operating conditions. It is therefore recommended that,
in addition to the periodic maintenance indicated here, the machine be
subjected to a thorough, comprehensive annual inspection. Please contact
your supplier for more information.
