- Page 3 EHA-FTX 1. INTRODUCTION The EHA-FTX / FRX are a pair of converters for transporting high definition digital video in HD-SDI standards over fiber optics. The EHA-FTX modulates the HD-SDI video signal to be transmitted over fiber optics, while EHA-FRX offloads the video signal at the receiving end and converts it back to HD-SDI video compliant with SMPTE 292M, 296M standards, at data rates up to 1.485Gb/s.
