Making a NaCl Standard Solution (g/100 g)
• Place container on an analytical balance.
• Tare the balance.
• Weigh out X grams of high-purity dried Sodium
Chloride (CAS #: 7647-14-5: MW 58.44) directly
into the container.
• Add distilled or DI water to total 100 g solution.

Brief Operational Overview
• Rotate the back cover (1) counterclockwise to open.
• Insert the supplied battery (2).
• Replace the cover and turn clockwise to close.
• Press to power the instrument on.
• Press to change measurement unit.

• Calibrate  Using a pipette, completely cover the
prism in the sample well (3) with distilled or DI water.
