Using Advanced Stand-Alone Mode Functions
This section discusses functions that may be used to streamline setup for locations with Acoustic Ceiling Sensors that will operate in
Stand-Alone Mode. Use this section to learn how to use the WaveLinx PRO remote method to identify a specific Acoustic Ceiling Sensor
for configuration and to learn how to create and use templates to configure Acoustic Ceiling Sensors with the same settings.
Using the WaveLinx PRO IR Remote in Stand-Alone Mode
Additional Tools
Required:
Bring the mobile device close to the Acoustic Ceiling Sensor
(within 60 feet/18 meters of the device).
Open the WaveLinx LITE Mobile App and open Stand-Alone
Mode .
Tap Occupancy Ceiling Sensor from the screen or the menu.
Tap IDENTIFY to allow the WaveLinx Mobile App to start
looking for WaveLinx LITE devices that have been identified
with the remote.
For standard ceiling height mounted sensors, use the IR
remote within 14 feet (4.27m) of the sensor. Point the IR
Remote at the sensor lens and press the remote's Rev ID
button. The sensor's LED should begin flashing magenta
repeatedly for 45 seconds and the sensor should appear in
the list of devices.

Optionally, the WaveLinx PRO IR Remote can aid in streamlining the
process of locating the correct Acoustic Ceiling Sensor in the
Mobile App when multiple ceiling sensors are being used. Only the
Rev ID button will be used. No other buttons will function for the
WaveLinx LITE devices.
Tap Finish Scanning.
Tap the sensor to open it for configuration.
If the sensor has been previously configured with a
passcode, enter the 6 digit passcode and tap VALIDATE.
If the sensor has not been previously configured with a
passcode, when prompted to Set Passcode? tap No to
continue.
The sensor configuration page will display.
Note: Once the sensor configuration page is opened, the device will
be provisioned as a Stand-Alone Mode device. The Mobile App will
indicate that the device is Customized in the sensor listing. The
device will not show as an available device if the Mobile App is used
to scan for devices in Network Mode.
Proceed with the desired changes.
