Quick Start Guide
Begin Here
Confirm all WaveLinx LITE Acoustic
Ceiling Sensors have been properly
connected and powered.
Install the WaveLinx LITE
Application from the App
Store® or Google Play™
on a mobile device with
iOS 16+ or Android™ 13+
The WaveLinx LITE Acoustic Ceiling
Sensor is a dual technology occupancy
sensor (PIR/Acoustics) with integrated
photocell. The Acoustic Ceiling Sensor
can be used in stand-alone applications
where the sensor is directly wired to and
controls a lighting load or switchpack
(Stand-Alone Mode). The Acoustic
Ceiling Sensor can also operate in a
larger WaveLinx LITE system, using
Bluetooth to communicate with other
WaveLinx LITE devices (Network
Mode).
In stand-alone applications, WaveLinx
LITE Acoustic Ceiling Sensors save time
over traditional motion sensors. Unlike
traditional sensors that require ladder
access and individual manual
adjustment, WaveLinx LITE Acoustic
Ceiling Sensors configure easily from
the ground using the WaveLinx LITE
Mobile App. The app uses the mobile
device's Bluetooth to directly connect to
and configure the Acoustic Ceiling
Sensor.
This document provides an overview of
using the WaveLinx LITE Mobile App to
configure stand-alone Acoustic Ceiling
Sensors. If the sensors are being used
as part of a larger WaveLinx LITE
system, please refer to the WaveLinx
LITE User Guide for details on using the
sensors in Network Mode.
