Configure an Acoustic Ceiling Sensor
The Acoustic Ceiling Sensor has the following assigned default settings:
• Passcode: No passcode assigned
• Occupancy Hold Time: 20 minutes
• PIR Sensitivity: LOW
• Acoustics (operation): Enabled
• Acoustic Sensitivity: HIGH
Use the details in this section to modify the sensor's occupancy and daylight settings, assign a passcode, place the sensor in test
mode, and reboot or factory reset the sensor.
Open Communication to the Acoustic Ceiling Sensor for Configuration
To change the settings of the sensor, first open communication to the sensor.
Bring the mobile device close to the Acoustic Ceiling Sensor
(within 60 feet/18 meters of the device).
Open the WaveLinx LITE Mobile App in Stand-Alone Mode .
Tap Occupancy Ceiling Sensor from the screen or the menu.
Tap SCAN to scan for available WaveLinx LITE devices within
range.
Note: The WaveLinx PRO IR Remote can also be used to identify
specific sensors. See page 8 for details on using the IDENTIFY
command with the remote.
Wait for the scan to complete. The closest device will show
the strongest signal indicator. Tap the identify icon
the device to verify that the correct device responds (LEDs
flash magenta and the load cycles ON/OFF for 15 sec).

• Test Mode: Off
• Sensor (occupancy operation): Enabled
• Daylight Switching: Disabled
• LED Indicator: Enabled
• Vacancy Mode (low voltage models only): Disabled
Tap to open the identified sensor's configuration.
If the sensor has been previously configured with a
passcode, enter the 6 digit passcode and tap VALIDATE.
If the sensor has not been previously configured with a
passcode, when prompted to Set Passcode? tap No to
continue.
The sensor configuration page will display.
Note: Once the sensor configuration page is opened, the device will
be provisioned as a Stand-Alone Mode device. The Mobile App will
indicate that the device is Customized in the sensor listing. The
device will not show as an available device if the Mobile App is used
to scan for devices in Network Mode.
