The setting communication unit is used to set various parameters in and perform running operations of the JW Series. The setting communication unit is available as a type to be built in the JW series thyristor regulator or a type to be installed on a panel separately according to a model code specified on ordering. The setting communication unit can also be used to connect the JW Series thyristor regulator to a master unit (a personal computer, etc.) via a communication interface.
