Machine-specifi c safety instructi ons

WARNING
: Read all safety warnings, instruc-
ti ons, illustrati ons and specifi cati ons provided with this
power tool. Failure to follow all instructi ons listed below
may result in electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructi ons for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or batt ery-operated
(cordless) power tool.
To be able to use the machine safely it is essenti al that
you read the operati ng instructi ons and the safety
instructi ons thoroughly and comply with all of them.
The machine is to be used only by persons who have
read the operati ng instructi ons and who are acquainted
with the occupati onal safety and accident preventi on
regulati ons in force in your country.
In addition, you must also comply with the gen-
eral safety instructions also included with the machine.
• Take care to ensure that the mains power supply
corresponds to the specifi cati ons on the rati ng plate.
• Do not use the device in any environments with
potenti ally explosive atmospheres. Do not mix any
readily fl ammable solvents or solvent-containing
substances with a fl ash point of below 21° C.
• Take care to ensure that no liquid splashes against the
motor housing and keep it away from the rain – risk of
electric shock!
• Never clean the machine with water – risk of electric
shock!
• Do not wind cables or leads around any parts of your
body.
• Do not use the machine with a damaged cable. Do
not touch the cable and pull out the power plug
immediately. There is an increased risk of electric shock
from damaged cables. If the mains power cable has to
be replaced (because of damage or similar), ensure
that it is replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized
representati ve of the manufacturer (electrician) in
order to avoid any risk to safety.
• Always hold the machine fi rmly with both hands when
carrying out your work and make sure you have a
secure footi ng.
• Hold the machine by the insulated grip surfaces
when carrying out work where it may be possible for
the plug-in tool to come into contact with concealed
power cables or the machine's own mains power cable.
Contact with a live cable may make metal components
of the machine live as well and could cause an electric
shock.
• Before starti ng up, check that the mixing rod is securely
att ached and rotates without a hitch.
• Start up and run down the machine in the mixing
container only. Ensure that the mixing container is
stood in a fi rm and secure positi on.
• Do not reach into the mixing container with your hands
or insert any other objects into it while mixing is in
progress. Risk of crushing!
• Wait unti l the machine or tool comes to a complete
standsti ll. Rotati ng tools can snag and cause injuries or
damage.
• If the sound pressure level should exceed 85 dB (A)
where you are working, use ear protecti on!
• We recommend that you wear work gloves and
protecti ve goggles when using the mixer. Regulati ons
require that you wear close-fi tti ng clothing.
• To protect yourself from harmful dust while mixing,
wear a dust mask. Some mineral materials are deemed
to be carcinogenic. Use a dust extractor wherever
possible.
• Always connect machines via a residual current device
(RCD) with a rated residual current of 30 mA or less.
Read and observe the operati ng
instructi ons for the machine before you
start it up!
Always wear protecti ve goggles and ear
protecti on while working.
It is advisable to wear a dust mask
whenever working with materials which
generate large amounts of dust.
Always wear protecti ve gloves while
working.
