3. ASSEMBLY
Before any work on the power tool, remove
the battery.
The battery must be charged before first use.
Inserting the battery into the machine (Fig. F)
Ensure that the exterior of the battery is
clean and dry before connecting to the
charger or machine.
• Insert the battery (5) into the base of the
machine.
• Push the battery further forward until it clicks
into place.
Removing the battery from the machine (Fig. F)
• Push the battery unlock buttons (6) and pull the
battery out of the machine.
Charging the battery (with the charger) (Fig. G)
• Plug the USB-C connector of the charger cable
(11) into the battery (5).
• Plug the USB-A connector of the charger cable
into an USB power adapter (not included).
Alternatively, for example a powerbank or laptop
can be used as a power source.
• The charger indication light (7) will lighten up
and show the charging status.
LED indicator (7) (Fig. G)
The battery has 1 LED indicator (7) which indicates
the status of the charging process:

Charger status
Red
Battery charging in progress
Battery charging finished, battery fully
Green
charged
After the battery is fully charged remove the
charger plug from the outlet and remove the
battery from the charger.
When the machine is not being used over
a longer period of time it is best to store the
battery in charged condition.
Replacing the saw blade (Fig. A, B)
When mounting the saw blade, wear
protective gloves. Danger of injury when
touching the saw blade.

Only use saw blades that correspond with
the characteristic data given in the
operating instructions.
Fold the Guard (12) upwards before replacing
the saw blade. Always saw with the guard folded
downwards.
Mounting the saw blade
Make sure the blade holder is free of material
debris (such as splinters of wood or metal).
1. Turn the clamping lever (13) as far to the left as
possible and hold it in this position.
2. Insert the saw blade in the chuck (2). Check
that the saw blade is securely fixed and that the
teeth are pointing in the cutting direction.
3. Let go of the clamping lever. Check whether
the back of the saw blade is positioned in the
centre of the guide roller (11).
Make sure to use the right sawblade for the
corresponding material. Included with the machine
is a coarse sawblade for wood and a fine sawblade
for metal and plastics.
Removing the saw blade
1. Turn the clamping lever (13) as far to the left as
possible and hold it in this position.
2. Remove the saw blade from the chuck (2).
3. Let go of the clamping lever.

4. OPERATION

Switching the machine on/off (Fig. A)
• To switch the machine on, push the switch
forward and press the On/off switch (1).
• To switch the machine off, release the On/off
switch (1).
Adjusting the bevel angle (Fig. A, C, D)
1. Loosen the bolts (16), using the hex key (14).
2. Adjust the baseplate (4) to the desired position
(0°- 45°). The sawing angle (bevel) can be read on
the scale (9).
3. Tighten the bolts (18), using the hex key (14).
It is possible to store the hex key onto the
machine, as shown on Fig. A.
Plunge cutting (Fig. G)
Plunge cutting may only be used on soft materials
