Power, Status, and Peered LEDs The front panel also includes power, status, and peered LEDs that provide basic monitoring of the overall status of the HPE Aruba Networking 7030 controller. See Figure 4 on page Table 7 Power, Status, and Peered LEDs...
LCD Panel The HPE Aruba Networking 7030 controller is equipped with an LCD panel (see Figure 4) that displays information about the controller’s status and provides a menu that allows basic operations such as initial setup and reboot. The LCD panel displays two lines of text with a maximum of 16 characters on each line.
Console ports are connected, the Mini USB connection takes precedence over the RJ-45 Console connection. Mini USB Driver To use the Mini USB console port, you must install the HPE Aruba Networking Mini USB driver on the computer that will manage your controller. DB-9 Ground Power Supply The HPE Aruba Networking 7030 controller is equipped with an integrated AC power supply of 80W. Grounding Point To meet safety and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements and to ensure proper operation, the controller must be adequately grounded before power is connected. Connect a grounding cable to earth ground and then attach it to the chassis grounding point using two screws.
