The EZ Switches 10/100/1000 SMCGS501/SMCGS801, 5-/8-port
Gigabit Ethernet switches, are the perfect solution for bottlenecks
on your home or SOHO network. Bottlenecks are the inevitable
result of data-intensive applications like home movies or digitial
images and more computers being connected. The switches
provide a seamless migration to higher-speed networking while
solving bandwidth issues. They are designed to allow
simultaneous transmission of multiple packets via high-speed data
channels. Environmentally friendly they consume less power than
non-Green Ethernet switches without reducing network
performance. IEEE 802.1p data prioritization, Auto-MDIX on all
ports and a fan-less design make these Gigabit desktop switches
ideal for home and small office network environments.
