INTRODUCTION 1.1 About the Cassida C300 Thank you for choosing the Cassida C300 Coin Counter, Sorter and Wrapper. We hope you enjoy using it. The Cassida C300 is a multi-functional coin processing machine which incorporates all the features of a professional coin counter, sorter and wrapper at a very affordable price. Its large hopper is capable of holding 1,900 coins (Dimes) and the coin trays can each accumulate up to 850 coins (Dimes) for the larger tray and 400 coins (Dimes) for the smaller trays. -

To clear the “EA” error, press the “START/STOP” button, then empty any coins present in the coin trays. Plug the power cord attached to the C300 into a three-prong outlet. Turn on the power switch located on the rear of the unit. The machine will conduct a self-check. The main display will show the report screen when the test has been successfully completed. -

2.3 Adding The C300 operates in ADD mode by default. In ADD mode, the coin count is added to the count from previous batches. To start a new count, press the "CLEAR" button. This will reset the coin count to zero. -

2.4 Setting Batch Quantities Each denomination can be assigned a batch quantity. 1. Setting batch quantities for coin rolls • Press and hold the “+” button for approximately three seconds until “L” is shown on the display. This automatically programs each coin denomination for bank coin roll amounts as follows: Denomination Quantity 25 (Canadian model only) - Page 13 NOTE: When operating in batch mode, the C300 will keep a running total for each denomination coin. For example, after four batches of 50 pennies have been dispensed, the C300 will stop and display: 0.01 X 200 = 2.00...

2.7 Printing The C300 has a printer port located on the back of the machine; refer to section 1.4 FRONT AND REAR VIEWS to see its location. This function is available by pressing the ‘’PRINT’’ button while on the report screen showing all the counts. -

3. Remove any foreign objects from the distribution plate. 4. Vacuum or use the air duster to clean the dust left in the distribution plate. 5. Clean all sensors using a Cassida air duster followed by a CleanPro swab (or a microfiber cloth lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol). -

Dirty sensors can affect the overall performance of the Cassida’s C300, which can lead to a variety of errors such as E1 to E9 and EA codes. We at Cassida suggest performing weekly cleaning on the unit to maintain top performance. - Page 20 3. Remove the housing by slowly lifting straight up. Be aware, two cables will remain attached to the housing. CAUTION: Do not pull or twist the cables. Count Sensor Cleaning (E1 to E8 Error Troubleshooting). 4. Refer to the pictures below to locate counting sensors (one dark, one clear) positioned at the top of the coin discharge chutes which are placed under the distribution wheel.

Antes de encender el Cassida C300, asegúrese de que no haya monedas en el depósito, de lo contrario se producirá un error “EA” cuando se realice el autotest del C300. Para borrar el error “EA”, pulse el botón “START/STOP” y vacíe las monedas presentes en las bandejas. -

“BORRAR”. 2.3 Adición El C300 funciona por defecto en modo ADD. En el modo ADD, el recuento de monedas se añade al recuento de lotes anteriores. Para iniciar un nuevo recuento, pulse el botón “BORRAR”. Esto reiniciará la cuenta de monedas a cero. -

2.4 Ajustando las cantidades A cada denominación se le puede asignar una cantidad de lote. 1. Las cantidades de lote que elija se almacenarán en la memoria interna del C300 y no se restablecerán cuando la máquina esté apagada. Para obtener los mejores resultados de su máquina, se recomienda realizar el siguiente mantenimiento de forma regular: 1. Limpie todas las partes externas de la máquina con aire comprimido Cassida o con un paño suave. 2. Retire los tres tornillos de la carcasa y levántela con cuidado. -

Unos sensores sucios pueden afectar al rendimiento general del C300 de Cassida, lo que puede provocar diversos errores como los códigos E1 a E9 y EA. En Cassida le sugerimos que realice una limpieza semanal de la unidad para mantener un rendimiento óptimo. - Page 45 3. Retire carcasa levantándola lentamente hacia arriba. Tenga en cuenta que dos cables permanecerán unidos a la carcasa. PRECAUCIÓN: No tire de los cables ni los retuerza. Limpieza del sensor de recuento (Solución de errores de E1 a E8). 4.
