This manual contains important information on the operation of e-
cigarette/vape detectors. If you install a vape detector for someone
else, be sure to leave this manual or a copy of it with the end user.
Vape detectors are often able to quickly and effectively detect vape
particles in the air. When these particles enter the human body, they
may cause serious harm to the human respiratory system for a long
time! If you want to avoid the effects of these vape particles in your
body, you need to install a vape detector. This device is designed to
protect individuals from the effects of exposure to vape particles.
Note that it will not fully cover individuals with certain medical
conditions. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

Function description

Changing sensitivity, the beeps will be
100% - 1 beep, 75% - 2 beeps, 50% -
3 beeps, 25% - 4 beeps, and 0% - 5
beeps.
After preheating (120S), the tamper-
Tamper Function protection function will be automatically
turned on. Once there is a relatively
intense shaking and tapping action
(attempts to open the alarm), a beep
and a red light will flash every 2
seconds for 10 seconds.
Optional functions
1 The APP can view temperature and humidity levels.

automatically turn on after the startup preheating (120S). The device
detects the ambient speaking voices are louder than the built-in
everyday speech level; the red light will flash every 500ms for 10
seconds. The APP will get a message alert.
APP can view the ambient CO2 concentration value. When the

ambient CO2 concentration exceeds 1000PPM, the APP will receive
a "Please pay attention to ventilation" message reminder (no sound
and light prompt, only APP message reminder).

1. How to select the installation location.
Vape detection alarms are suitable for installation in places where
smoking is prohibited. For example, the living room, bedroom, public
restroom, children's play area and other locations/rooms where
smoking is not permitted.
WARNING
Select the installation location and it should be installed by
qualified personnel.
2. Installation precautions
Vape detectors detect particles in the ambient air to identify E-
Cigarette particles. Therefore, it should not be installed near places
where smoking is permitted or where the concentration of PM2.5
particles is high.
This equipment should not replace the proper installation, use and
maintenance of fuel appliances, ventilation and exhaust systems.
Note: Please turn the power switch ON and connect to the main
power supply. As the picture shows:

2.1 Ideally, each room should be installed with a Vape detector, which
can effectively detect the exposure of e-cigarette particles and have
good ventilation in place. If there is more than one burner in the room
and it is prone to smoke particles, we cannot install the detector in
this position.
2.2 Install the bottom cover of the device on the ceiling and connect
the main power supply AC 110 ~240V,50/60HZ. The wiring
connectors are as follows: A: Live, E: Ground, N: Neutral, L: Do not
connect.
WARNING
Note: Pay attention to electricity safety. Please read the
instructions carefully before installing and operating the
device. Always have a qualified professional to select the
installation location and to do the installation.
3. The following points should be noted when installing
electronic cigarette detection alarms indoors:
A: Electronic cigarette detection alarms should not be installed where
particles are easily produced, such as in kitchens and places where
furnaces are burning for heating.
B: The electronic cigarette detector can not be on the wall or tilted
installation; it should be flat installed on the ceiling.
C: Do not block or block the detector ventilation inlet.
D: Please ensure the installation is on the ceiling 2-4 meters above
the ground.
E: Operating temperature range: -10 ~ 50 ° C, humidity range: 30 ~
80%rh. Do not install the device in a low temperature, high
temperature, dry, or humid place.
F: Do not install the device in a place that may affect the short-term
or long-term reliability of the device. Some common substances,
vapours or gases can affect the measurement accuracy of the
equipment and even cause damage. For example, the installation
should be apart from cleaning fluid, polish, paint, cooking and other
environments with high concentrations of substances, vapours or
gases.
G: If there is mild PM2.5 pollution in the environment, you can set the
alarm sensitivity through the APP to turn the sensitivity down.
4. Maintenance and cleaning
The unit is designed to be as maintenance-free as possible, but you
must do a few simple things to make it work properly.
Press the test button of the Vape Detector at least once a week to
ensure that the sound and light of the device are normal.
Clean the Vape detector at least once a week by gently vacuuming
around the shell with the soft brush attachment of the household
vacuum cleaner. Do not use water, cleaning agents or solvents to
avoid damage to the equipment.
If the Vape Detector is affected by too much dust or dirt, replace the
device immediately.
If the sensor is damaged, the yellow LED flashes twice every 60
seconds and emits two beeps simultaneously to indicate a device
fault. If the alarm does not return to normal operation for a long time,
replace the detector.
The maximum service life is five years from the factory date. Replace
the detector when it expires.
5. Warranty Statement
Warranty Period: We assure the original consumer that in the use
and service of each new alarm, there will be no defects in materials
and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse,
misuse or reasonable maintenance. This warranty supersedes all
other express warranties, obligations or liabilities. All implied
warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose, are valid for two years from the
detector's purchase date.
