  • Page 5 Software Control panel functions Main screen items Main screen items The main screen of the HMI panel shows the information and the settings options that a user mostly requires. Shows the current room temperature in the house, measured via the extract air. Shows the current fan speed level.

  • Page 9 Ventilation settings Turn on the unit Turn on the unit When you turn on the ventilation unit, the control panel will light up, but all functions are off. This is to prevent errors from occur- ring when you turn on the unit. When the ventilation unit is off, this icon is displayed on the main screen of the control panel at the top righthand corner.
  • Page 10 Alarm Alarm You can read off warnings and alarms under the “Alarm” menu item. This is also where you reset them once the problem has been solved. If an alarm or a warning is active, the alarm icon will be displayed in the upper righthand corner of the control panel.

If the number of people using a building varies considerably, controlling ventilation through the CO level in the extract air may be a good solution.

It is necessary to install an after-heating element if you want to control the supply air temperature and for it to contribute towards the heating of the dwelling.

It may result in higher energy consumption, and errors may occur and cause damage to the ventilation unit.

  • Page 19 De-icing De-icing In all ventilation units with a heat exchanger with high effi ciency heat recovery, ice may form in the heat exchanger during periods of heavy frost. The de-icing function will try to de-ice the exchanger so that normal operation can continue. You can prevent ice formation in the heat exchanger by installing a pre-heating element for frost protection.
