5. BYPASS Test
1 .
Make the connections as show n in the figu re below , then start the u nit in
the normal usage state.

Inp u t signals like those show n below from the signal generator, and
verify that the ou tp u t signals are at the corresp ond ing valu es.
* Set the filter on the noise meter to Flat or DIN audio.

6. LED and Battery Operation Test
1 .
Insert a battery into the u nit, m ake the connections as show n in the figu re,
then start the u nit in the normal usage state.

Set the ou tp u t voltage of the stabilized p ow er su p p ly to 9.0 V.
3 .
Dep ress the p ed al to m ake the CHECK LED light u p .
4 .
Set the ou tp u t voltage of the stabilized p ow er su p p ly to 7.5 V.

Verify that the CHECK LED d im s.
6 .
Disconnect the p lu g from the DC jack.
7 .
Verify that the CHECK LED lights u p brightly.
8 .
Dep ress the p ed al several tim es, and verify that the CHECK LED
rep eated ly lights u p and goes d ark.
9 .
With the CHECK LED illu m inated , d isconnect the p lu g from the INPUT
jack.
