Page 8 F. Maintenance and cleaning There are a few steps you need do to keep it working properly: Test the detector at least once a month. Do not paint the detector. Paint will seal the vents and interferes with the sensors functionality. Never attempt to disassemble the detector to clean inside.

Ne montez pas le détecteur à ces endroits Zones où il y a beaucoup d’humidité (par exemple cuisines, salles de bains), beaucoup d’insectes ou de poussière/saleté, dans des zones facilement polluées ou dans lesquelles il fait très chaud.

Page 22 B. Test uw alarm Naast certificering volgens NEN-normen 85 dB alarm door TÜV, is de melder getest in een speciaal daarvoor ontworpen kamer in de fabriek. Zelf test u de melder door op de testknop te drukken, waarna het 85 dB alarm klinkt.
Page 23 D. Stiltemodus De stiltemodus mag alleen worden gebruikt als de alarmbron bekend en veilig is. Druk op de testknop om de stilteodus in te stellen. Tijdens de stiltemodus knippert de rode LED één keer per 8 seconden. De melder wordt na 10 minuten automatisch gereset. WAARSCHUWING Voordat u de stiltemodus gebruikt, moet u de rookbron identificeren en ervoor zorgen dat er veilige omstandigheden bestaan.
