Never push objects of
any kind into this product
as they may touch dan-
gerous voltage points or
short out parts that could
result in a risk of fire or
electric shock. Never
spill liquid of any kind
on the product.

To reduce the risk of
electric shock, do not
disassemble this product,
but take it to qualified
service personnel when
service or repair work
is required. Opening or
removing covers may
expose you to dangerous
voltages or other risks.
Incorrect reassembly
can cause electric shock
when the product is
subsequently used.

a remote risk of electric
shock from lightning.

equipment to report a
gas leak in the vicinity
of the leak.

Unplug this product from
the wall outlet and refer
servicing to qualified serv-
ice personnel under the
following conditions:
a) When the power
supply cord or plug is
damaged or frayed.
b) If the product has been
exposed to liquid.
c) If the product does
not operate normally by
following the operating
instructions. (Adjust only
those controls that are
covered by the operating
instructions because
improper adjustments of
other controls may result
in damage and will often
require extensive work
by a qualified technician
to restore the product to
normal operation.)
d) If the product has been
dropped or the base unit
has been damaged.
e) If the product exhibits
a distinct change in
performance.

wiring during a lightning

jacks in wet locations
unless the jack is specifi-
cally designed for wet
locations.

telephone wires or
terminals unless the
telephone line has been
disconnected at the
network interface.

installing or modifying
telephone lines.

to be supplied by a Listed
Class 2 Direct Plug - In
Power Unit rated 9VDC
800mA. Plantronics Part
No. 45669- 01, rated at
an input voltage of 120
VAC, 60Hz and an
output voltage of 9 VDC
at 800mA.

This product requires
AC power in order to
operate. In order to have
phone service during
a power outage, have
another telephone avail-
able that is powered only
by the telephone line.

operating machinery.
