- Page 6 4.2 Upgrade Fixture’s Firmware (Normal Upgrade) 1. Download the fixture’s software update files from the ACME website and store them in the SD card supplied with the Uploader II. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the Uploader II.
- Page 7 6. A window pops up in the display. Set a desired speed (1-100: slow-fast) of upgrade and press ENTER. 7. The Uploader II will display the upgrade process from 0-100%. Once the first file (V00) upgrade is complete, the upgrade process will display 100% OK!. While still in the Firmware Upgrade screen, pressing MENU once returns you to the Firmware Files screen.

- Page 9 This method is usually used after several failed upgrades to the fixture. 1. Download the fixture’s software update files from the ACME website and store them in the SD card supplied with the Uploader II. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the Uploader II.
- Page 10 7. Power up the fixture and press ENTER of the Uploader II. 8. The Uploader II will display the upgrade process from 0-100%. Once the first file (V00) upgrade is complete, the upgrade process will display 100% OK!. While still in the Firmware Upgrade screen, pressing MENU once returns you to the Firmware Files screen.
- Page 11 1. Connect the Uploader II to fixture, using 3-pin or 5-pin DMX cable. 2. With the fixture connected, power up the fixture and switch on the Uploader II. 3. Press the MENU button and the display will show the following menu. Use (DOWN)/(UP) button to select DMX Test and press ENTER.
- Page 12 REV G 08/31/2024 4. The Uploader II will display the Manual Test screen. Use (DOWN)/(UP) button to select a channel for which the manual test is to be performed, press ENTER. Select a value (0-255), confirm your selection with ENTER. (Select Clear, use (DOWN)/(UP) button to select Yes and press ENTER, all channel values will be cleared.)
