- Page 8 Electric Safety Requirements [ Warning ] The air conditioner shall be installed according to the local wiring specifications. Wiring work must be completed by qualified electricians. All wiring work must comply with electrical safety specifications. The air conditioner must be well grounded. Specifically, the main switch of the air conditioner must have a reliable grounding cable.
