Use of a new battery (04_18)

Remove the battery cover.
Place the battery «1» in its hous-
ing.
CAUTION
ALWAYS CONNECT THE BATTERY

BREATHER PIPE SO THAT SULPHU-
RIC ACID VAPOURS, WHEN RE-
LEASED THROUGH THE PIPE, DO
NOT CORRODE THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM, PAINTED PARTS, RUBBER
COMPONENTS OR GASKETS. (ONLY
125-250 VERSIONS).
Connect the positive lead (+)
first and then the negative one
(-).
Cover the leads and terminals
with neutral grease or petroleum
jelly.
Refit the battery cover.

Verwijder het accudeksel.
Plaats de accu «1» op zijn
plaats.
LET OP
VERBINDT STEEDS DE ONTLUCH-
TING VAN DE ACCU, OM TE VERMIJ-
DEN DAT DE ZWAVELZUURDAMPEN
DIE UIT DE ONTLUCHTING KOMEN
DE ELEKTRISCHE INSTALLATIE, DE
GELAKTE DELEN, DE RUBBEREN
DETAILS OF DE PAKKINGEN KUN-
NEN AANTASTEN. (ENKEL VERSIE
125-250).
Verbindt eerst de positieve ka-
bel (+) en daarna de negatieve
kabel (-).
Bedek de terminals en de klem-
men met neutraal vet of vaseli-
ne.
Herplaats het accudeksel.
