IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

When using electrical appliances you must read the basic precautionary measures carefully which are given below:
1.
Read all the instructions.
2.
Make sure that your power supply matches the voltage indicated on the product's label.
3.
This electrical appliance has a plug with an earth pin incorporated into it. Please make sure that the power socket in
your house has provision for an earth pin.
4.
In order to avoid fire or electric shock and to avoid people being hurt, do not submerge the cable or the plug in water
or other liquids.
5.
You must take particular care when using the appliance near children.
6.
Unplug the appliance from the power supply when you are not using it or before cleaning it. Let the appliance cool
down before cleaning it.
7.
Do not use any appliance if its cable or plug are damaged or after finding it is not working properly, or if it has broken
down in any way. Take the appliance to the nearest authorised technical service agent to have it examined, repaired
or adjusted.
8.
The use of a component that has not been recommended by the manufacturer of the appliance may cause a fire,
electric shock or personal injury.
9.
Do not use the appliance out of doors.
10. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the table or come into contact with a hot surface.
11. Do not place it near a gas burner or an electric hotplate, or on an oven that is hot.
12. Do not use the appliance for anything other than the purpose for which it is intended.
13. To disconnect the appliance, please switch it off by pressing the On/Off button and then remove the plug from the
power supply. Always pull the plug, not the cable.
14. While it is functioning, never open the lid (1) while coffee is coming out of the coffee nozzle. You must wait 5-10
seconds after the blue light has gone out so as not to scald yourself.
15. Before starting the appliance, ensure that the water tank is correctly positioned in its place.
16. Do not switch on the coffee maker without first filling it with water.
17. Some parts of this appliance become hot when in use and therefore should not be touched.
18. Keep these instructions.
19. This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) whose physical, sensorial or mental state
prevents them from using it safely or who lack the necessary experience or knowledge, unless supervised or given
instructions regarding its use by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure they do
not play with the appliance.
20. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or his authorised technical agent or by a
qualified technician, so as to avoid any danger.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Check that all the accessories are complete and that the unit has not been damaged. Fill the tank with water until it reaches
the MAX level indicator and allow the water to work through the unit several times without putting the coffee bags in place.
Wash the removable parts well in hot water.

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

1.
Plug the power cable into the mains electricity supply. Push the On/Off button (3) and the red light will blink showing
that the appliance is in pre-heating mode. When the red light stops blinking and remains lit pre-heating is complete.
You can now make one or two cups of coffee by pressing the appropriate button

Open the tank lid, remove the water tank lifting it by the handle, and fill it with mineral water. Replace the tank in the
appliance and close the tank lid.

Open the unit lid moving the lever (8) into position
Note: if you do not move the lever release to the position

Make sure that the funnel (16) is in position, and choose one or two bags to make coffee. Then place the bag or bags
in their respective supports and place the support with the full bags of coffee in the funnel. Make sure that everything
