Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before starting and ensure you are familiar with the
operation of your new Solar Peacock Ornament.
How the solar light works:
•
During the day, the solar panel converts solar power into the rechargeable battery.
•
At night, the light turns on automatically by the stored energy. How long the light lasts depends on its
location, weather conditions and seasonal lighting availability.
Choosing the right location
•
An outdoor location with direct sunshine and where the solar panel of your light can receive at least
six hours of sunshine each day is an ideal location for a solar light.
•
Shady locations will influence the batteries charge and may shorten the working time of the light at
nighttime. The solar light should not be placed near lighting such as streetlight, which may cause the
light to turn off
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Gently remove the statue from the packing and position it in a sunny location with the solar panel
facing the sun.
2. Press the switch to the "ON" position to turn the light function on and to charge the battery. Press the
switch to the "OFF" position to turn the light function off.
3. For the initial charge, allow the solar panel to charge the battery for a full day for best results. When
darkness falls, the solar light will illuminate for several hours(depending on charge).
Troubleshooting
•
If the light does not turn on at dusk after 8 hours of charging:
•
Ensure that the solar light is in a bright sunny location and not in a shady area during the day.
•
Make sure that the light's photocell is not affected by other light sources at night. Clean the photocell
regularly.
