Packing List

Setting Up Your Scooper-Young

Once you have assembled the product and confirmed that the package is complete, get started by following the steps below.

Placement

  1. Make sure that the unit is placed on flat and solid ground with no other object at the bottom. Avoid soft, uneven, or unstable flooring.
  2. Locate the unit near a power outlet. Ensure the unit isn't pushed against a wall or into a corner (must not be touching any wal s), and there is no other objects are p aced on the top.

Power and Initial Test Cycle

  1. Check whether the Trash Liner is properly placed, and properly push the Waste Drawer back to its position.
  2. Plug the small end of the Power Supp y into the Power Input at the back of the Base. Then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

  3. The unit will perform a test cycle every time it is plugged in. DO NOT touch the unit or buttons during this process. It takes about 3 minutes.

Cat Litter

Fill the Globe through the opening with clumping litter until it meets the Fill Line when spread flat. Be careful not to overfill the Globe.

The Scooper-Young litter sifting system requires clumping litter to work properly. We recommend a bentonite clumping cat litter.

DO NOT use litters that are non-clumping, loose-clumping, newspaper-based, or wood based pellets. If you are using a litter alternative not listed here, please contact Customer Service to make sure you are using a compatible litter

Button Functions

Button Operation Explanation
Clean/Pause Press and Realease
Mode Switch Press and Realease The mode will switch from autos manu and empty.
Panel Lock Press and Hold Release the buttons when you hear a "Beep' Press and hold the Clean/Pause button and Mode button. Release the buttons when you hear a "'Beep". The lock indicator is on, the locking is success fully enabled. If you want to disable the panel locking, repeat the above mentioned operations.
Set Walt Time Press and Hold e the s when you hear 3 "Beep"

Press and hold the Clean/Pause button and Mode button. Release the buttons when you hear 3 'Beep'. The indicator flashes, the unit enters Wait Time setting mode. Press the Mode button to select the Wait Time you want to set.
3min - Auto flashes
5min - Manu flashes
10min - Empty flashes

Press and hold the Clean/Pause button and Mode button to save the setting. Release the buttons when you hear 3 'Beep'. The Wait Time set successfully.

Indicator Lights

Indicator Status Explanation
Error On The unit is in cat protection and now the unit will not rotate. After confirming that your cat is safe, press the Clean/Pause button to cancel the cat protection state.
Flash The Waste Drawer is full and the Trash Liner needs to be replaced.
Lock On Panel lock on.
Off Panel lock off
Run On The unit is rotating.
Empty On The unit is in Empty mode. Press and release the Clean button, the unit rotates and dumps all the cat litter into the Waste Drawer below.
Manu On The unit is in Manu mode. Press and release the Clean button, the unit does a Clean cycle and dumps waste clumps into the Waste Drawer below.
Auto On The unit is in Auto mode. When a cat enters the Globe, the Cat Sensor is activated. Once the cat exits the Globe, the countdown to a Clean cycle begins. When the Wait Time has elapsed, a Clean cycle begins.

Protection Mechanism

Protection Function Priority Explanation
Weighing Level 1 During the rotation of the Globe, if a object over 3.31bs enters, the weighing protection will be triggered, and the Globe will stop rotating. When the object is detected to leave, the Globe will resume rotation.
Anti-pinch Level 2 When the Globe's litter outlet is facing downwards and the anti-pinch device is triggered during rotation, the G obe will release the maximum litter outlet space and stop rotating. This protection can only be lifted after human intervention.
Motor Stalled Level 3 The Globe will stop rotating when the motor resistance suddenly increases during the rotation. This protection can only be cancel ed with human intervention.

Replace All Cat Litter

  1. Press and release Mode button to switch to Empty Mode.
  2. Press and release Clean/Pause button, the unit starts to rotate clockwise.
  3. After all the cat litter has fallen into the Waste Drawer, press and release the Clean/Pause button again, the Globe returns to Home position.
  4. After the Globe returns to the Home position, lift out the Trash Liner filled with the waste clump and throw it away Put on a new Trash Liner, and then put the Waste Drawer back in place.
  5. Fill the Globe through the opening with clumping litter until it meets the raised Fill Line when spread flat. Press and release Mode button to switch to Manu Mode. Press and release Clean/Pause button to do a clean cycle for paving cat litter.

Cleaning and Attentions

  1. Refer to the steps of "Replace all cat litter" empty the cat litter and then power off the power.
  2. Remove the top Cover.
  3. Remove the Globe
    warning Note: remember to remove the pivot support rod on the back of the Globe.
  4. Pull out the Waste Drawer and take out the Carbon Filter Box (we recommend exposing the box to the sun once a month and replacing the box every two months).

  6. Parts that can be wiped with wet wipes (including electronic parts, not directly washable).

  7. After cleaning, put the Carbon Filter Box back into the Waste Drawer, assemble the litter box according to the steps, and it can be used normally.

Troubleshooting

Trouble Solution Steps
Unit stops working in Auto mode Calibration
  1. Please ensure that there are no objects around the machine, the ground is flat, and the bottom sensing feet are active.
  2. Prepare reference object.
    Can use 3.3 lbs items, 3 bottles of 16.9 fl oz water.
  3. Unplug the power cord and plug it back in.
  4. After the Globe starts to rotate, put the 3.3 lbs item into the Globe.
  5. At this time, long press the 'setting" button on the panel, when you hear 5 "beep"s and release your finger, and the manual indicator light "flashes".
  6. When you hear a "beep" and the manua indicator light on the panel is "off", the calibration is successful.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Always be sure any cat in your household that might use the Scooper weighs at least 3.3 lbs.
    Cats must weigh 3.3 to 22 lbs to safely use the Scooper.
  • Always place the Scooper on a firm, level surface. Avoid soft, uneven, or unstable flooring, which may affect the ability of the unit to detect your cat.
  • Always unplug the unit before servicing.
  • Never force your cat into the Scooper.
  • Never put anything in the unit other than clumping litter or litter beads that are small enough to pass through the screen.
  • Never sit on or place anything on top of the Scooper.
  • Never push the Scooper against a wall or into a corner (must not be touching any walls).
  • Never remove the Globe or Bonnet while the unit is rotating or turn the unit on if the Globe or Bonnet are removed.
  • Never wet or submerge the Bonnet or Base.
  • Never allow children and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge to use, clean, or maintain the Scooper without supervision, instruction concerning its use in a safe way, and understanding of the hazards involved. Children below 8 years of age should not be allowed contact with the Scooper.
  • Never allow children or others to play with the Scooper.
  • Never use an external power supply other than the one provided with the unit.
  • If the external power supply is damaged, please contact us for a replacement.
