Preparation Before Use

Accessories

Your monitor is equipped with the following components. Please check whether all parts have been received. If there are any omissions, please contact Koorui.

Holder Installation

Monitor Holder Installation


Assemble the base to the stand neck.


Tighten the screws.


Place the protective Styrofoam (cushion) included in the package on the floor and place the product facing down on the Styrofoam, as shown in the mage. If Styrofoam is unavailable, use a thick sitting mat.


Hold the main body of the product with your hand as shown by the figure. Push the assembled stand into the main body in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure.

M4-8 screw post is required for wall hanging screws. If you can't find this screw, please contact Koorui customer service.

VESA Attention

  • VESA device can be purchased separately.
  • Refer to the user guide provided with your VESA device for details.
  • Install your wall mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Before attaching the wall mount to surfaces other than plaster board, please contact your nearest dealer for additional information. If you install the product on a slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe personal injury.
  • Do not mount the product at more than 15 degree tilt.

Monitor Holder removal

Place the protective Styrofoam (cushion) included in the package on the floor and place the product facing down on the Styrofoam, as shown in the image. If Styrofoam is unavailable, use a thick sitting mat.


Push down this switch.


Press the lower part of the monitor with one hand, and pull the stand with the other hand in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure.

Monitor Holder removal
Remove the stand neck from the stand base by turning the screw in the arrow direction as shown in the figure.

Connecting and using a PC

  • Choose the connection method that suits your PC.
  • Connecting parts may vary from product to product.
  • HDMI 2.0/DP port supports 2560x1440p, 144Hz; HDMI 1.4 supports 1920x1080p, 144HZ or 2560x1440p 60HZ, please select the connection mode you want.
  • The HDMI cable is divided into 1.4 and 2.0, docking station also supports port type version, please consult with the dealer whether it matches the interface of this product.

Connecting and using source devices
Read below before installing the product.

  • Before installing the product, check the shapes of both ports of the supplied signal cables and the shapes and locations of the ports on the product and external device.
  • Before connecting signal cable, make sure you remove the power cables from both the product and the external device to prevent damage to the product due to a short circuit or over current.
  • After all signal cables have been properly connected, connect the power cables back to the product and the external device.
  • After installation is completed, make sure you read the user guide to acquaint yourself with the product functions, precautions and other information required to use the product properly.

Please read the user guide provided by the source device for the operation mode of the source device. The original device signal is abnormal. It is recommended to contact the source device manufacturer first.

OSD Function

The OSD function information table of this product is as follows. If there is any question about the operation process, please contact Koorui customer services.

Menu Press this button to display the main menu, return to the previous menu or exit the main menu.
Left When the menu is opened, press this button to select the left item, and the value of the progress bar will decrease. When the menu is closed, act as the specified shortcut volume mode hotkey. Hotkey function: volume down (when M menu is not open).
Right When the menu is opened, press this button to select the right item, and the value of the progress bar will increase. When the menu is closed, act as the specified shortcut volume mode hotkey.
Accessing menu If the menu is active, pressing this key selects the function.
Power button Press it to turn on/off the monitor.
Power LED Remains on: normal working state;

Brightness
Adjustable the brightness of your display by pressing the left and right key -/+.

Contrast
Adjustable the contrast of your display by pressing the left and right key -/+.

DCR
ON OR OFF ON: Turn on; OFF: Turn Off
Automatic identification output dynamic adjustment can be selected; If you choose dynamic contrast, manually adjusting brightness and darkness will automatically turn off.

Language
Chinese / After confirmation by "E", the OSD menu options will be changed to Chinese language.
English / After confirmation by "E", the OSD menu options will be changed to English language.
French / After confirmation by "E", the OSD menu options will be changed to French language.
Deutsch / After confirmation by "E", the OSD menu options will be changed to Deutsch language.
Italian / After confirmation by "E", the OSD menu options will be changed to Italian language.
Japanese / After confirmation by "E", the OSD menu options will be changed to Japanese language.

Adjust the red saturation level. A value closer to 100 means a stronger color.

Precautions:

  • When you are not watching movies or games, it is best to set the response time and mode to standard.
  • Under dynamic contrast, brightness and contrast cannot be adjusted.
  • Image ratio and MPRT cannot be adjusted under FREESYNC.
  • Standard mode, get the clearest display effect, and adjust it according to your preference
  • Cinema mode, eye protection mode, FPS mode and RTS mode cannot adjust brightness and contrast.
  • Eye protection mode cannot adjust color temperature.
  • In MRPT mode, OD acceleration cannot be started.

Blank spaces are found on all four sides of the screen when an HDMI or DP cable is connected to the product and PC. The blank spaces found on the screen have nothing to do with the product. Blank spaces on the screen are caused by the PC or graphics card. To resolve the problem, adjust the screen size in the HDMI or DP settings for the graphics card. If the graphics card settings menu does not have an option to adjust the screen size, update the graphics card driver to the latest version. (Please contact the graphics card or PC manufacturer for further details about how to adjust the screen settings.)
The power LED is off. The screen will not turn on. Check that the power cable is connected properly. If a problem occurs with the monitor screen, run Self Diagnosis to check that the monitor is working properly.

Not Optimum Mode is displayed

This message appears when the signal from the graphics card exceeds the maximum resolution or frequency for the product. Change the maximum resolution and frequency to suit the product performance.

The images on the screen look distorted

Check the cable connection to the product.

The screen is not clear or blurry.

Remove any accessories (video extension cable, etc.) and try again. Set the resolution and frequency to the recommended level.
The screen appears unstable and shaky. There are shadows or ghost images left on the screen. Check that the resolution and frequency for the PC are within the range of resolution and frequency compatible with the product. Next, if required, change the settings, referring to Standard Signal Mode.

The screen is too bright or too dark

Adjust Brightness and Contrast.
Screen colour is inconsistent. The colour on the screen have a shadow and are distorted. White does not really look white. Change the Color Settings.
There is no image on the screen and the power LED blinks every 0.5 to 1 second. The product is operating in power-saving mode. Press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse to return to normal operating mode. Observe whether the computer operates or restarts the device through the PC keyboard Caps Lock.

Video playback is choppy

Playback of high-definition large video files can be choppy. This may be because the video player is not optimized for the PC resource. Try playing the file on another video player.

The monitor is no sound

If the input device is connected using an HDMI-DVI cable, no sound will be heard. You should be connect the device using an HDMI cable or a DP cable. Re-check the condition of the connected audio cable and/or adjust the volume. Check the volume. Check whether audio is set to mute. The monitor sound output is not set, refer to [ 4.3 Display Sound Output Setting ]

The volume is too low

Volume adjustment. If the volume is still low after turning it up to the maximum level, adjust the volume on your PC sound card or software programme.

Video is available but there is no sound

No sound can be heard if the input device is connected with an HDMI-DVI cable. Connect the device using an HDMI cable or a DP cable. The monitor sound output is not set, refer to [ 4.3 Display Sound Output Setting ]
An energy efficiency prompt appears on the monitor or "XXS Power down. MENU Key Cancel" appears in the upper left corner of the monitor When you buy and sell European products, European regulations have energy efficiency requirements

Storage Precautions

  • Keep away from water sources or damp places, such as bathrooms, kitchens, basements, swimming pools, etc.

Protection Recommendations

Suggestions for eyes
In order to avoid eye fatigue and pain in neck, arms, back and shoulders caused by long-term use of the monitor, please pay attention to the following points:

  • Place the monitor 20-28 inches away from both eyes (about 50-70cm).
  • Use the monitor to keep the eyes moist or increase the blinking frequency.
  • After using the monitor for 2 hours, please rest for 20 minutes.
  • When resting, leave your eyes away from the monitor and look at the distance for 20 seconds.
  • When resting, stretch or relieve your neck, arms, back and shoulders.

Low blue light description
The blue light wavelength is in the blue light band, and the display has the function of reducing blue light emission. Can select "eye protection mode" in the menu to protect your eyes.

Cleaning your monitor
To clean your screen, lightly dampen a soft, clean cloth with water. If possible, use a special screen-cleaning tissue or solution suitable for the anti static coating.
Do not use benzene, thinner, ammonia, abrasive cleaners or compressed air.

Precautions for Moving the Product

  • Do not directly apply pressure on the screen.
  • Do not hold the screen when moving the product.
  • Hold the lower corners or edges of the product when moving it.
